Reviewed By rupisammakkoNice and quiet place very close to a long empty beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good cuisine. Ideal place to make daily journeys to Isla de la plata, Salango and Puerto Lopez. We can truly recommend if you enjoy a calm surrounding.

Attentive and compassionate staff
Reviewed By 982jaimeecWe stayed at Tuzco Lodge at the start of a global pandemic. What a time to be there! We were treated with such compassion and respect by the owner and staff that I am almost brought to tears remembering it. Amidst travel restrictions, curfews, flight cancellations, the owner herself helped us get home safely in so many ways. I could not imagine a better scenario for such a difficult situation. Apart from that, the property, room, pool, rooftop terrace, and location were all wonderful. I hope to be able to bring my family back soon!

Poor hostal, dirty, cold, no hot water
Reviewed By AjanadOne of the worst hostals we have stayed at in Ecuador. The hostal grounds were dirty and unkept. When we arrived the bed nets were covered in stains and bugs. When we told the owner she shrugged and did nothing. There is no hot water at all. There was no door on the bathroom, instead they used a shower curtain. There are much better places in Puerto Lopez that are cheaper.
