The perfect getaway!
Reviewed By jenn-ac-1993We recently stayed at Nayal for a few nights and had an amazing time! The room was large, very clean and very comfortable. The pool area is great to relax around and the food served is home cooked and delicious! The WiFi also worked very well here. You can also borrow bicycles for free to ride around town which was great! The owners are really lovely people, very friendly and helpful! We’d love to go back and highly recommend!

Simple Beach Lodge features seven eco-style rooms all of which include a private bathroom. Our shared terrace also has the best ocean view and faces west for the best sunset in Nicaragua. Walk down the stairs right onto the sand!

Reviewed By bucketlisttravellersWe came to the beach as an afternoon trip from Leon and stumbled upon this restaurant in the foreshore. The restaurant has great views into the beach and is nicely appointed. We chose the fish cerviche and mango and chicken salad. The Cerviche was the best we have had since Mexico and the mango salad was also delicious and a generous serving. Prices were reasonable and a little cheaper than the bar next door. We only had around 40min before our bus left and were grateful that the meals came out promptly within around 10min. We highly recommend having a bite to eat here when in Las Peñitas.

The beaches in Lss Penitas are extremely hot during the day We used the hammock under the rancho listening to the waves midday. Just walked out our door for a lovely walk on the beach in the morning and a dip in the ocean late day. The owners live on site and are very helpful. We had breakfast and other meals sitting on their patio with the thatched roof rancho over head. Good meals and a very tranquil, quiet place to stay

Casa Blanca donde nuestra prioridad es que se sientan en su casa. Tiene una arquitectura de dos plantas que consta de 13 habitaciones con banos privados, una cocina pequena comun equipada con lo necesario, refrigerador, macrowave, comedor, etc. Las habitaciones estan distribuidas en: 5 en la planta baja y 8 en la planta alta para las cuales se tiene acceso atravez de una escalera de concreto con pasa manos de hierro encontrandose con un pasillo el cual lo conduce a cada habitacion . En la zona superior derecha del edificio hay un pequeno y acogedor balcon con vista a la calle principal que coresponde a la habitacion, llamada el balcon, donde hay dos sillas perezosas y una mesa de centro. En la parte inferior izquierda se encuentra la sala en la cual hay un juego de sofa muy acojedor para las personas que deseen utilizar dicho espacio. Hay un porche en la entrada del edificio que esta frente a una calle principal donde los huespedes se sientan a disfrutar el crepusculo del atardecer.

We are a quaint little lodge located in front of two of the best waves in Nicaragua and a quick boat ride from THE best wave in Nicaragua! We have a quiet vibe and we focus on quality time for you to focus on relaxing and getting the most out of your surf vacation! We have room rates that are the lowest cost in the area and our food is top quality, especially for the price. Thanks for thinking of us, we hope to see you soon!

Reviewed By Jenna SI stayed at Serena for a week with two of my friends on a surf trip. It was the most relaxing, enjoyable and fun part of our trip. Greg and his family were very welcoming. We felt like part of the family. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious and the waves were epic. The view from the porch atop was paradise. We would spend hours watching waves, doing yoga, reading and sitting in quietness. I will 100% come back. Thanks Serena!!

Reviewed By singingwalkerI stayed at the hostal for two nights in March. The hostel is located close to other accommodation yet it was very quiet. As "elders", my partner and I appreciated that. The room provided privacy and our own bathroom, which I liked. Breakfasts were okay. I was able to get transportation to the Ometepe ferry direct from the hostel so that was great. And I liked the wifi, of course.

We are a quaint guesthouse located just steps away from the beautiful beach of El Transito, Nicaragua. Come and enjoy our nicely appointed, spacious casitas with private ensuite bathroom. Guests are treated to a homemade, delicious breakfast daily, included in your stay. Our property boasts many gorgeous areas to swing in a hammock, curl up and read a book, or just stare out at the ocean. We also offer dinner for guests staying with us for an additional fee. Our meals are always fresh and creative, drawing on cuisines from around the globe. We are approximately 100 meters from the beach, and a great surf break called Pistols. A quick 10 minute walk will get you to the main lower village. Our aim is to provide the most relaxing and friendly environment for your stay, feed you delicious food, and make you fall in love with our little fishing town! Our rooms feature orthopedic, queen-sized beds, insect screens on all windows, a fan, mini-fridge, and a huge private bathroom with shower. Air conditioning is available for an additional $7US per night. Guests also have access to a small kitchenette to prepare their own meals.

Reviewed By PhilippZschrngWe spend 2 weeks at this lovely place. I am from Germany and this is by far the most luxorious place i stayed for this price! Perfectly clean, spacious and two big hangout areas (more than you need). There is a pool when it is to hot. It was one minute from the bed to our favourite wave by foot. And the couple who hosts this place was always super nice and always helped with everything. Doesnt matter it you had to repair your board, or forgot to buy oil or eggs for your dinner :) If you look for a place to calm down, do some work on your computer and surf in empty lineups, this is the place to go in El Transito.
