Reviewed By nuovorealismoBEB5 is one of the brands Hoshino Resorts offers. Hoshino Resorts is a Japanese exquisite group of hotels and their qualities are undoubtful. So, I dare to say some things that you should check before you stay. -Yagura room is suitable for family use. But some points are dangerous for very small children. The loft including a bed space has only a low gate. Children can easily climb it up and they are in danger of falling. The stairs for the loft have no gate. This is dangerous as well. -You have to pay in cash or with a credit card when you buy something in the hotel. Breakfast is the same. Anyway, you can't stay in Hoshino resorts at this reasonable price any other than this hotel. I strongly recommend BEB5.

Great customer service shines when things go wrong

I have one bad lung and very prone to pneumonia. MOJO Lodge very graciously allowed us to cancel our 10 day booking with no cancellation fees. Customer Service like this is very rare these days. It is when things go wrong rather than right - when good Customer service shines, and is greatly appreciated. Thank you MOJO Lodge.

Great hotel
Reviewed By Yianni44Stayed one night in this new hotel and the staff were fantastic. Absolutely helpful in every way from entrance to the point of even driving us to the station when no taxi was available and it was raining. The family room we stayed in was very spacious and had the most amazing view of Mt Fuji. For the cheap price I highly recommend this and would stay again. Only negative is the semi detached location but only a short 5 minute walk to the lake.

Best Place to Stay for Mount Fuji View
Reviewed By AntonWidodoPerfect place to stay for photographer of videographer alike who wants convenience of viewing Mt Fuji. You just need to cross the street and Mount Fuji is visible clearly. On top of that, the shuttle bus (red line) will also alight you right in front of the property, convenient! However, if you are particular about upkeep, amenities - then this is not what the property is offering. During our stay, I had to deal with insects, giant moth and spiders. The bed arrangement doesn't smell and look like the most hygienic too. In conclusion, the place is old - but the only motivation to stay here is the view of Mount Fuji!

Perfect stay for budget price

The staff at frontdesk is so nice and so helpful: whatever you need during your stay, they will arrange (car rental, Japanese seats for room, good restaurant-advice). The room is supplied with very nice thick duvets, Japanese-style tatami and futons, and you will find a fridge and kettle too. The shower is really nice, with good pressure and nice ‘n warm. Room is warm and comfortable. Located opposite the station, this place is surely recommended!

Enjoyable Stay and Excellent Dinner
Reviewed By anntierney54Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Convenient location to restaurants and onsens in town. 10 minute walk to Nagasaka Gondola which gets you warmed up and ready to go. Great drying room for ski gear. Good breakfast (choice of western or Japanese). We invited 6 friends for dinner (24 hrs notice to book) and it was very enjoyable. Beautiful food at reasonable price and we took our own wine. There is a beer vending machine on site. We had a twin room with no bath/shower just a toilet and we used the hotel hot baths. Would definitely consider staying again at this lodge in the future.

Reviewed By Nikki74-12We had a great stay - 2 adults and 5 teen boys. Everything was provided - comfortable bedding, towels, washing machine. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishware and cutlery, pots and pans. Comfortable living areas with space. Only downside was paying additional daily rate for a charcoal bbq. Fly screens on windows was a big plus! Plenty of ventilation with windows and fans and located under trees which helps keep the chalet cool enough in summer. Located on a Quiet lane.

Душ со всеми принадлежностями (шампунь, кондиционер, гель для душа, фен, полотенца), кухня, холодильник. Очень чисто. Прекрасная хозяйка, доброжелательная, всегда готова помочь. Говорит только на японском, но это не беда, всегда ходит с телефоном, в котором настроен переводчик)) Хозяйка сама готовила завтрак, заранее спрашивала, во сколько вам бы хотелось поесть. У неё в этом же доме своё маленькое кафе, там она и накрывает завтрак. Само место находится 3-5 минут пешком от станции Mt. Fuji Station ~30 минут пешком до храма Аракура, преодолеть ещё 400 ступеней за ~15 минут и вы можете насладиться видом с самых известных открыток: горой Фудзи на рассвете на фоне пагоды Chureito.

Reviewed By MmpayneAZThis little hidden gem is a great place to stay in the shadow of Mt Fuji. Our group had two rooms, one with bunk beds and one with tatami mat flooring. Both were very nice. The bathroom was a common area but was private. The breakfast we had was just amazing. The owners were great. The night we arrived they served us green tea and sat an talked with us. At breakfast they chatted some more. Sharing stories and pictures. If I ever make back to Japan I surely want to go back here.
