CICACU It is a hostel that was renovated a old traditional japanese hotel(Ryokan) established in Edo era (about 150 years ago). we have "tatami" rooms. About a reservation It’s possible to make a reservation 3 months from the current month. 50% cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel 2 days prior to your reservation date. 100% cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel check in date.
Good statement
Reviewed By atsutoathis guest house is about 15 minutes by walk from Shinkanuma station. There are lots of restaurant,coffee shops and Izakaya aroud the hostel. The owner of the guest house is very friendly and kind so I could know about Kanuma city when I stayed. The statement price is not expensive. I recommend this guest house for your trip to Nikko also. Kanuma city is famous for strawberry and "Soba" you can try it if you stay here.

Reviewed By ゲストハウスTravelerとても楽しみにしていた古民家ゲストハウス！静かでゆったりと落ち着ける宿♪オーナー夫婦や他のゲストと一緒に夕食を準備して食べる事が出来るので、交流が生まれやすいゲストハウス。田舎でゆったりと休日を楽しみたい方も交流好きな方も楽しめる古民家ゲストハウス(^o^) ちなみに僕は、チェックインが遅くなってしまい一緒に作れず食べるだけでした? バスの本数が少なく、駅から少し離れているためバスの時間をしっかりと調べておくのをオススメします！

Reviewed By stephaniemlwRent a japanese room with garden view. The public space like toilets and bathrooms were clean. They are basically a house with rooms so its very cozy and homey, and also spacey. like how the owner will warm bathwater for public use like how you see japan houses do in movies.you can use all kitchen utensils and not need to clean it. The house was Nicely decorated. I rent yukata and breakfast and they were good! Its like how you see breakfast for normal household. WhAt struck me the most abt this place is the service from the owners! Both were nice, warm, friendly, and super helpful. On our arrival,they greet us, show us around the house, give us map and explain to us reccomended restaurant, buses route and tourist best spot. Oh and also they have excellent amenities from hairdrier, facial cotton, cottonbud, shampoo condi etc. And lastly the owner even took us by car to the bus station! I have excellent stay here, it feels like living in japan home rather than guesthouse.

There is a 1-minute walk to World Heritage Site, it is very convenient for sightseeing such as two Shrines one Temple. This Hostel is renovated a normal house, when you come here you can make new friends then go to somewhere sightseeing and do something with them if you like .You can find your fun traveling style. Almost feel like at the your home of Nikko, I will waiting for your visiting to my hostel.

Reviewed By crubinasThe hostel needs a deep cleanse and a renovation. The furniture is old, there’s mold in many corners around the hostel. Also, it doesn’t smell very well. On the social aspect, there’s no life. Not a place to socialize and meet other travelers. Lacking charisma.

Amazing stay
Reviewed By johan tLoved the stay. We had only one night but wished we stayed longer. Thanks to the host, he was so friendly and took us around to a local restaurant for dinner and answered all our questions. Amazing time.

Reviewed By 351camillebThis hostel is actually an traditional japanese house, in wood, with futon beds. It is ideally located, just off the main road so the traffic wont bother you. The rooms are cosy and it really feels like your staying in a real japanese home. The place is super clean, very well equipped (the shared kitchen has got everything you need). The host was very helpful and indicated us hikes to do in the area. I wish we stayed more than one night!

With breakfast:)We are between Tokyo and Nikko! It's approved officially in Japan.(Hotel Licensed) Near the station (JR, Tobu) There are two private rooms(~3people×2rooms) and a large room(~8people). Breakfast is included! Parking is available for three vehicles. Please request parking beforehand. Private rooms and the large room are located on the second floor. There is no elevator. All beds are futons. It is the Japanese simple inn-style. There are services such as a microwave oven, a refrigerator (common use), coffee, and tea on the second floor. The first floor is available as a common use space. Because the third floor is the host's residence, please feel free to ask if there are any requests!

Reviewed By invis_ladyA 3-storey guesthouse located on a branch of the Tomoeha River. Megumi speaks enough English to communicate the facilities of the hotel and she is very welcoming. It is very convenient to be able to rent a bicycle from her to ride around town. I slept in one of the western dorm-style beds and it was very comfortable. A thoughtful touch is spare earplugs at the tea station upstairs. One thing I am finding is that when a listing says "shared bathroom facilities, that could mean any number of things! Here, the showers are clean and good, and there are 2 separate and lockable shower cubicles, can be used by men or women. There are toilets on every floor. The guesthouse has a good free breakfast, I had some boiled eggs and a savoury pastry. Toast and jam is also available. They also do hot drinks and meals if needed. It's a reasonable walk from the train station, but it's flat walking.
