Beautiful riverside hotel
Reviewed By PatwakBeautiful location on the river side. Very comfortable beds and lovely service and breakfast. We stopped here for one night while driving to Austria. The hotel is located on the riverside and has convenient parking nearby. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome from the front desk. There is an Italian restaurant on the hotel site but this is not part of the hotel. We chose to have dinner in one of the restaurants that are in the historical city center which is a 2 minute walk. The room had everything we needed, was clean and the bed was fantastic. Slept like a dream. The breakfast buffet had more than enough choice and they made fantastic eggs to order. Definitely recommend!

Reviewed By Alina Ci had given you only one star, because you had gladly took my money after booking 2 rooms, and in max 5 minutes i had called you to explain that it is possible for my guys to be a little late for check in due to traffic conditions (they were coming from about 400 km away so no one could predict the traffic!) i made the reservation at 15 o'clock, we had this conversation 5 minutes after, your check in was until 20 pm. so plenty of time for you to rent these rooms, i did not harmed you in any way. 1- you were not a flexible human being in any way, you did not agree not for waiting 30 min more for my guys, not to leave the key somewhere safe for them (both of these, were solutions i agreed with other pension owners from germany, austria, slovacia, great people who did not "claped their hands of joy" for taking 130 euros for NOTHING!!! 2. after the guys from booking (helping center) agreed with me they had called you trying to mediate this, in german/english, but you did not agree not even to take only half of the amount, given the fact that you had a few hours until the check in was closing and you could have sell your rooms to anyone else 3. given this situation i think i have all the rights to believe you are nothing but a person who had a great pleasure to take some money for NOTHING... YOU KNEW 5 MIN AFTER BOOKING THAT THEY WILL NOT COME!!!! i felt like my money were stolen!! this is the impression you gave me! i hope you will get what you deserve in your relation with your customers, best wishes,

Reviewed By Jan RHotel 4 minutes from the hi way exit, very reasonable prices. Great stop over to the ski destinations in Austria. 8 hour drive from Rotterdam gave me a great head start. Left at 14:00 and sat down for dinner at 20:00 :-)

Reviewed By MamadstWe really enjoyed our stay here after a long flight from the US. We stayed in the top floor family apartment. It was spacious, had air con, a fridge and a kitchen. Really cute little city center to catch our bearings.

Reviewed By YoastieHad a lovely dinner with very friendly service. The restaurant was fullo when we arrived, so thethey opened up an additional room just for us. The food was lovely Italian with very nice pizzas. There is plenty of choice in Seliganstadt and this is definitely one of them.

Lovely and simple
Reviewed By Ana POn our way to Prague we stopped over night in the historic town of Seligenstadt at the Elysee hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our spacious immaculately clean ensuite bedroom. Secure private parking was appreciated as we were carrying quite a lot household items for our new holiday home. A good choice of tea's,breads,cheeses,meats,eggs etc were offered for breakfast. Highly rrecommended.

Decent Stopover Hotel
Reviewed By jelena1958We stayed here on our travels through Germany. A typical provincial German hotel. Probably a 3.5 mark would be fairer than 3, but not 4. The room was extremely sparse but also very clean. The owner was very friendly indeed. Breakfast was very good & plentiful. At €98 for a double room it’s not cheap. This is a typical price for these types of places.
