Killer views, stunning location
Reviewed By Mark GThe views are truly stunning. You can watch people surfing from your bed! Staff are friendly, most speak English if you need it. It is as the name suggests a big surfer crowd, all laid back and just fine with us old folks in their midst. It sits between 2 great surf beached one great for beginners, one full of fun for the more experienced. If you are older like us walking on the beach, swimming, exploring rock pools on the Magnific Rock itself are all excellent. The food is top notch. Lost of breakfast selections, smoothies. Burgers to Lobster at lunch and dinner. I had Lobster, at $24 i expected a half a lobster, but I received 1 and a half! Cooked to perfection on the grill. I love this place and keep coming back. To top it off for an Aussie it is run by Australians and we were offered Vegemite with our toast :-)

Reviewed By cvdheuvelI didn't stay at the place to sleep but went out for dinner and the food was amazing! Great atmosphere and the people who work there are very friendly. Highly recommend the pizza gorgonzola, the best! Everything is very clean, good value for food and the pool is gorgeous. The owner even brought us to our hostel when we didn't feel like walking back. Thank you for the lovely evening, keep up the good work!

Reviewed By APalms4Just left casita pacific hotel and we miss it already. The place is beautiful and right on the water! Thé hôtel property is well maintained by the groundskeepers and the hotel owner. The cleaning ladies are very attentive, very thorough and incredibly nice. The restaurant staff are also very attentive, kind, quick and efficient! Réception staff are there to help and make sure you have everything you need! Upon check in the young man working reception kindly helped me haul my massive suitcase up to my room! Last but not least, the owners, well, they were also so fabulous! They have the kindest hearts as they have « adopted » a stray dog that is quite ill. It was beautiful to hear that they are doing everything they can do save this dog that has been very neglected. Please stay here or visit their restaurant when you’re in the area! You will not be disappointed! Promise!! Thank you Casita Pacific Hotel! We will be back most definitely in the near future! Xo

Reviewed By chrisyennel12I have become a fan of the Surf Ranch, Lucas & Travis after watching their Hotel Brothers documentary on Amazon Prime. I contacted Lucas to organize a multi hotel tour to all 3 of their locations, with this one being the last stop. They organized a shuttle to get me from costa rica to nicaragua and back. This is their largest resort and brand new, I think they said I was one of the first guests here after their recent opening last week. This one is pretty cool, it's still being developed and they took time to meet me and explain their vision, hey who knows maybe I will even invest. I stayed in one of the ocean view houses. I live in Miami and these look like they belong in Miami, straight out of the movies, I loved every inch of it, super high ceilings, pool table inside, private pool with mini fridge and bbq although I didnt use it. Very excited to see how this resort develops in the coming years. I did get to go to the beach in front, no one there, all too myself. Everything is new, modern and the prices are great, I will be back soon guys, thanks for showing me around!

Perfect for me in Playa Guasacate

She assisted with my reservation and was a great resource for information about the area - things to do an places to eat. The cabina was just as described on their website. Traveling solo, it I was perfect for me. The kitchen is well-equipped - although I did not cook as much as intended on my 4N stay. I will next time. The new blender did come in handy for smoothies and drinks! The living area/loft/bathroom was also well-equipped. There were several fans and plenty of outlets for devices. Extra towels in the bathroom w/ soap and the like. The bed was comfortable and linens were fresh. Good internet. The outdoor patio was the highlight and where I spent most of my time. It has two tables, hammocks and, a couple of bench seats. It is shaded and is a great spot to hang-out. Everything is kept-up and in tidy condition. Red Pepper next door has a really good Chicken Curry on Sunday nights for $8. I had a great chicken and onion calzone down the beach at Viento Este Pizza and a good hamburger at Casitas Pacifica. Great pastries right next door to Vibra. The Market has just about what one might need. Walked the beach in both directions and visited the plunge pools one morning. It was very laid back in Playa Guasacate and not many people - just what I needed. Will definitely stay longer next visit.

A relaxing oasis
Reviewed By Meander44053088004The cabañas were the perfect relaxing oasis from our usual city vacations. The beach was right in from of us and every night we enjoyed a magnificent sunset. We borrowed surf boards and ripped around beginners bay which was just a 10 minute walk down the beach. Everything was perfect.

It's also right next to the big surf if you feel like a bit more party vibe;) the sunsets are amazing. And there is a truck with fresh food stopping by every morning to start the day with some good energy!!

Reviewed By Pala KWe showed up to popoyo in slow season, plus the protests were going on so there was almost no one around. Ruamoko was closed due to this, but we emailed the owners and asked if we could stay anyway because of the heat reviews. They (Peter and the volunteer, Tom) had no problem housing, feeding, and hanging with the four of us. Beautiful people, we would definitely go back to popoyo just to stay at ruamoko again.
