The rooms can be accessed by lift or stairs, a comfy bed and a modern en-suite to be found in the adequately furnished room. My room was to the rear with not much of a view but nonetheless clean and fresh. Breakfast is fresh and varied, with a good choice of continental, cereal or great scrambled egg and fresh and varied crusty rolls. The evening menu is available to select from a choice of three main meals. Our evening meal was served in a room to take all 16 of us by very pleasant staff who were also very efficient and helpful. The food was plentiful and fresh and most enjoyable. Afterwards we sat out on the terrace in the warm evening air and enjoyed being well looked after by the cheery attentive staff. The view from the terrace is pleasing as the hotel is set back off the road amongst the trees which gives off a sense of peace and quietness. Yet is only a stroll back downhill to the centre of town. A most delightful place to stay.

Nice, quitely situated hotel with the an excellent restaurant
Reviewed By Marion0808The hotel is situated in Remblinghausen just outside Meschede. Remblinghausen is a small quiet village. My husband was here a couple of years ago on a business trip and was very enthusiastic about the hotel and especially about the restaurant, which was reason for us to spend here the last night of our holiday. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The dinner was indeed excellent. No fancy haute cuisine, but deliciously prepared dishes. Perfect.

Small hotel with 15 rooms in the country Sauerland. Very good for business travelers and vacationers. Specializing in motorcyclists, cyclists and hikers. Very good fresh food in the restaurant!

Reviewed By ID61Stayed here several times and it's lovely. Owners and staff friendly and helpful, food is great, beer is fantastic. Set in lovely countryside and not too far off the motorway it's easy to get to. Definitely recommended. English spoken so no problems for me!

Failed to refund or offer voucher due to cancellation Covid
Reviewed By pgxxxx5We booked one night in this hotel for last May. All flights from UK were cancelled due to cover. Of all the hotels on our 8 day trip, this was the only one that has refused to refund, issue a voucher of engage in real communication. They do not deserve further business since their attitude during the Covid difficulties is clearly demonstrated by the actions.

Great food, for vegans & meatlovers
Reviewed By SaskiaGrovenWe didn't stay at the hotel, just went there for dinner, as they had several vegan options on their menu. It was excellent! Very friendly staff, nice surroundings, not expensive at all and wonderful food, we loved it (meatlovers and vegans alike)!

Expensive rip-off.
Reviewed By Kim LOur room was clean and just OK, but Spartan and with NO tea/coffee facilities and 2 very small shower gel sachets to last us for for 4 showers. Luckily we had our own. The tiled floor made it feel cold so we had to turn the radiator on full to get warm. We had a nice, if expensive, dinner the first night and the staff were efficient except no-one spoke English as advertised. The room was not soundproof and we could hear the man next door coughing. The bed, 2 singles pushed together, was sort of comfortable but we had to cope with 2 separate, very narrow duvets which were a struggle to stay under. The worst thing, however, was upon paying the bill (just under 100 euros per night for 2 nights), we were made to pay for 2 breakfasts that we had not had, even though the price of which,7.90 Euros, WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ROOM PRICE!!! IT WAS EXTRA!!! If the food was cooked for us and we didn't turn up, fair enough - but it was a typical continental bread, ham and cheese help-yourself cold buffet!!! The man at the reception desk said we should have told them the night before that we didn't want the breakfast, but this instruction was never mentioned. Therefore, a 2 night stay cost us 231.40 Euros, so as you can imagine, we most certainly will not stay there again. This will be to their disadvantage as we will be visiting the area again on a regular basis. Not at all happy with the experience of being ripped off!

Reviewed By KuffnuckelEs handelt sich eher um eine Kneipe mit Gästezimmern im ersten Stock. Unser Zimmer war einfach gehalten und recht spartanisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wirkt wie abgezählt und wird auf eine Menagerie gereicht. Die Inhaber waren freundlich und bemüht. Mehr nicht. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
