We went there for a Friday's dinner. Walking in you don't get an Italian atmosphere at all because it's very bright and quite spacious.
We had a garlic soup, pizza and a salad and paid a lot more then we expected. Nevertheless, the food was very Italian which we really liked.
I would recommend it if you don't mind paying a lot for a regular dinner.

Das Ristorante Saracino ist wohl das schönste italienische lokal der Stadt, die direkte Lage an der Ruhr mit herrlicher Terrasse ist faszinierend. Das auch das Speiseangebot hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es gibt knackige Salate, frische Nudelgerichte und schmackhafte Fleischgerichte sowie eine große Auswahl an Pizzen.
Der zuvorkommende Kellner bot uns gleich einen Platz auf der Terrasse an der plätschernden Ruhr an.
Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gesamtpaket und werden jeder Zeit wieder hier essen.

The menu is limited but food is fine and wine is at good standard. Service a bit slow but very friendly and flexible (eg: special diet requirements are listened to and taken into account)

Having a Friday night BBQ at Xavers Ranch is a special treat. The nature surrounding you is glorious, green all around, animals content in their homes, and people enjoying family and friends and delicious home cooked food and Warsteiner. How could it be better?

We went here with family, who aren't vegan. All of us were provdided with a delicous meal. The tomato soup was one of the best we've ever had. Great vegan meals, friendly service. We will definitely come back here if we are in the area.

This is a smart cafe, offering breakfast, pannini and small dishes like salads and wraps. It's right next to the river, and in summer it's an excellent spot for sitting outside. In the colder season, it can be rather crowded inside. But it's a great place to relax.

I just wanted to grab a quick salad befor retiring from a long day and got this absolutely fabolous food. Because it sounded so nice I had to get the pumpkin soup with sesame mini-dumplings (Nockerl) and pumpkin seed oil ... no dissapointment, it was simple excellent. The salad was with fried mushrooms and Turkey bits and was AGAIN delicious. I had lots of delicious soups so I can't say it for it but the salad was for sure the best salad I ever had!
Great place, not cheap but an opportunity not to miss.

We were here for Sunday lunch - Sunday's this place only offers buffet lunch which was fine with us. The selection of the buffet is ample but not extensive. I tried all foods offered, the test was good, not excellent but above average. And all food comes from local farmers and is organic - which we find important, if not for the taste then at least for the well being of cattle and nature.
Good selection of cakes. All drinks available, no difference to any other well sorted restaurant. (Who invented beer?) Friendly service. Tidy and well kept. We'll definitely come here again.
