A gem of a beach for adventurers
Reviewed By CStrivensWe thoroughly enjoyed our time (3 days) at the resort and Patricia and her staff really looked after us well. The beach was absolute heaven and breakfast/dinner sitting under the trees on the beach and under the stars was the highlight of our whole trip to Sri Lanka. We packed in a lot and Patricia was instrumental in organising most of this, Scuba Diving, Yala safari and Katagarama as well as a massage onsite, a choice of western or Sri Lankan cuisine, and an experience in local cookery, really added to our experience. I also loved the raised pool looking out over the Ocean with eagles soring and monkeys as spectators. After a while sand seems to get everywhere and we were frequently sweeping this out of the room, and the resort was clean but does really need a deep clean and refurbishment - but look beyond this because the experience was just superb. Patricia has really good ethics in sustainability and focuses on her staff welfare. A little gem not to be missed.

Perfect place to stay near Yala Safari
Reviewed By Victoria WWonderful welcome by the owner and staff when we arrived. The room was so spacious with a large well-equipped bathroom. The owner, Nuwan, organised a safari for us and our driver was the best, so eagle eyed, spotting everything as he drove along. We had a great evening meal and then joined Nuwan for drinks and chat under the trees by the pool. Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel. Thank you for the hospitality.

Short 2-Day Stay in February 2022
Reviewed By anuw2018Stayed with family and friends for two nights. Apart from visiting Yala, visited Kataragama since it was only a 40 minutes drive. Also a very short drive to Kirinda beach too. Staff were very helpful and special thanks to Sumedha for looking after everything.

Reviewed By eff32019We've stayed at Back of Beyond Dune Camp for 2 nights. During our stay we also booked an epic safari! In a way we might have been lucky that we've seen so many different species of wildlife but we believe that this was also due to the expertise of our excellent ranger Sanka. The dune camp is a lovely place to stay right next to the sea. The dunes are georgous at sunset and the dune walk arranged by the campsite (again with Sanka) was an excellent way to already get acquainted with many of the birds to be seen in Yala NP and also provided stunning views overlooking the ocean on top of the white sandy dunes. We've stayed in a awesome tent with a beautiful Seaview. It really was perfect and definitely one off the highlights during our 4 week stay in Sri Lanka. The staff is incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay memorable. Especially on the last evening, they had a lovely surprise for us.. Which I do not want to spoil!! Just go there, enjoy and definitely book a safari tour with Sanka!

A Decent Stay!
Reviewed By ExploringSL1802Booked Arana Yala to stay for one night since we were going into Yala National Park. The hotel is decent but i feel it needs alot of maintenance. Pool seems like its not been cleaned in months. Staff seem limited too may be due to the country situation etc. Rooms were spacious and the bedding was good. Washrooms had the warm water option but it never worked. Told the staff many times but nothing happened. The Shampoo/Body wash bottles were kept but there was hardly anything inside. Staff seem demotivated and didn't seem to have the passion to pleasure the customers requirements. Might not be the place i will look at the next time i want to head to Yala.

Reviewed By monicin86I've been a few times to Beauties of Nature for the past few years and this is really an amazing place. Hosts are very kind with great service. Big plate of fruits for breakfast with eggs toasts, pancake, wonderful. Food is just delicious! Big beautiful garden with many trees, flowers and lots of birds you can see. Shantah spends many hours every day taking care of the garden to make sure everything is nice and neat. Many varans, iguanas, lezards, hares and even crocodiles in the lake of the property. Beauties of Nature is the place to come to relax and observe nature for a few days. I fully recommend, you won't be disappointed.
