Reviewed By PaddyH154This is a very interesting place to stay. It is a winery with a small chapel on site along with lovely gardens, two pools and an onsen. I suspect it dates to 1989 and it was planned in better times as certain facilities were closed when I visited. However, that should not discourage readers from going. I was just surprised when I visited to see how expansive the resort it. 8 minutes drive from Fukue Port, this is a place worth visiting. Staff were very nice upon check-in, room was clean and well furnished with misc amenities. The Japanese Restaurant (Bara - a posh Izakaya) is great with super cheerful staff. Breakfast is massive and a meal for the day (choose the Japanese option vs the Western one). A nice touch is they have your name card on the the table when you arrive in the morning. Wine tasting was fun and the NZ winemaker was patient with my basic questions. The outdoor onsen is wonderful also. It is a special place that could and should market itself better. Unique Property and one worth visiting. Super aware of COVID-19 also. Overtime, I entered a restaurant or the Onsen, my temperature was checked and I had to sanitize my hands.

Clean Hotel, Good Service, Very Modern
Reviewed By Keanu VBooked this hotel for a 4 day trip to Goto. I was amazed by this hotel considering the other properties were quite old. This hotel was brand new with all modern requirements such as Sat TV, very fast internet, automatic check in and electronic room keys. While there is only 60 rooms (it's a small hotel), there were so much housekeeping staff to keep all rooms clean. All rooms, as well as the hallway and lobby were cleaned thoroughly every morning. Overall this was a great stay, the price is right and the hotel offers all required amenities.

OK for Fukue, but overpriced
Reviewed By tnbms162016Just a basic Japanese hotel, the Serendip is showing its age. The room is entirely featureless, but functional – Wi-Fi, air-con, bathroom all work fine. There’s the usual empty fridge. Both the fridge and the air-con are a bit noisy. The bed is standard. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast, and there’s nowhere in town, so the convenience store is your best choice. The staff are helpful with basic questions. You can’t expect anything better in a place like Fukue. At 7,500 yen, it’s overpriced

A nice family run lodging
Reviewed By pocomameThe owner family does 3 major businesses on their property , a hostel ,bar , futon mattress shop(their original business) and more! This place is like a hub for socializing with locals , travelers and immigrants from other part of Japan. Family members are so friendly and kind. Grandma speaks nice local dialects of this island so well and fast :)

Reviewed By yakomura海開き前と考えると高いなーって印象ですが、グランピングの相場だと思います。 でも確かに、わりといい宿に泊まれる値段ですので★1つ分すみません！ 大きな校庭に大きなテントが何個も並んでいて不思議な感じです。梅雨の終わりでアマガエルがたくさんいました。かたつむりも、とんぼも、バッタも、たくさんのカニも、そこかしこにいる猫ちゃんも、綺麗な蝶々も、都会育ちの子供たち（3歳、1歳）にはひとつひとつが新鮮のようでした。 （たぶん）マネージャーも、若い男女スタッフもみなさんとっても感じがよく、ほどよい距離感でした。最終日の飛行機欠航で夕方までの滞在になり、お部屋を追加チャージで13時まで使わせていただけるようお願いしたところ、御代は大丈夫ですとのことでとっても助かりました。 夕食の五島牛と地元の豚がとってもおいしかったです！付いていた朝食ではホットサンドを作りました。お野菜など食材は地のものでとってもおいしかったので、お夕飯のデザートが甘いお菓子だったり、朝食のヨーグルトがお砂糖入りだったり、もうすこしこだわってあったらよかったかなぁ～と思いました。 トイレはわりと遠くにあり、夜はわりと暗いので、おむつが外れたあと～1人で行ける高学年くらいまでの間の子供ですとちょっと大変かもしれません。シャワールームはとても清潔でした。 ベッドが硬めで寝心地がよかったです。 テントの外にウッドデッキがあるので、歩いて数分のビーチで遊んだあとはウッドデッキでおやつを食べたり、校庭でボール遊びとかも楽しそう。周りをお散歩しているだけで沢山発見があります。 雨がちであいにくのお天気でしたが、十分楽しめました。 犬も連れて行きなかなか賑やかだったと思います。ありがとうございました。

Good sea food and pleasant restaurant
Reviewed By state1224I enjoyed 'KIBINAGO', small fish, for the first time in my life. That was very good. The staffs were very kind and the room was comfortable. It was very pleasant place. I stayed with my wife for sightseeing old churches that have histories of hidden Christianity. The Nakae-island is wonderful, which is rich in nature and kind people. The hotel stay here made the impression more.

Able to be relaxed!
Reviewed By japanguideIt was very comfortable to stay at this spacious but cozy hotel with friendly staff. This is located within 30-minute drive of main ports of this island like Arikawa or Tainoura Port. It cost 3,000 JPY plus by taxicab. We were able to be relaxed in good onsen spas and had lovely Italian or Japanese cuisine with fresh local island ingredients. This is well-positioned for both amazing views of sunset and sunrise thanks to the location in a narrow peninsula of this island. Tips 1) I was able to use a free washing machine with free detergent on the ground floor. 2) Breakfast open at 6:00, but in case of no time one can take out sandwiches if he tells staff about it at check-in.

長崎で一番清潔なホテル
Reviewed By nobu-chyan立地は不便かも…。でも綺麗なホテルでした。長崎らしくなく…トイレもシャワーも文句ありません? 清潔でした。『長崎に旅行』はないと考えてましたが、こちらは『アリ』です? ビジネス利用の為、滞在は短かったですが…夏は家族で利用したいホテル。好印象です? 予約はとっているので再訪が楽しみですね。アクセスは悪いのですが、良い思い出になりますょ?
