Reviewed By BackInLondonThis is a gorgeous hotel with a lovely and expansive garden. Sadly we arrived late in the evening and had to leave early the next day. I could have stayed a week! It's very well run, the room was wonderfully comfortable and the restaurant excellent. Everything was calm and clean and the in-room WiFi also great. The views of the mountains from the terrace are breath-taking. No faults - I just loved it!

VERY PICTURESQUE BUT ...!!!
Reviewed By veer2808Going by the rave reviews, we booked our stay in the Riverdale Resort, Gilgit. While the rustic wood-hewn cottages, rushing stream, lush green fantasyland setting replete with apricot & berry trees; and, most importantly, a very caring staff are commendable, RR need to clean up their act by focusing on pristine, dust-free room interiors, adding shower curtains to prevent puddles in the bathroom and offering a wider meal selection. Must do: Catch and eat freshly-cooked trout from RR's on-site trout farm. A good hotel but not in the Resort class yet!

Reviewed By 632carinajI visited Madina Hotel II three times during my stay in Pakistan in February-March 2021 together with two fellow Swedes and we truly enjoyed this place. The secluded garden was super cozy and we had all our meals out there. Superb and kind service and so interesting to hear the owner's stories from the hotel's rich past (and there are photos to prove it!). Makes me smile just writing this :) Thank you for your great hospitality! PS. Walking distance from the Gilgit airport.

I originally came for two nights and ended up using this hotel as my base of operations in Gilgit for three weeks as I explored the surrounding areas. The family that runs this hotel is exceptional. They make every effort to ensure their guests are happy and well taken care of. And the food at their restaurant is superb and the location is perfect. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By nelin111Ich reise schon seit 3 Jahre nach Pakistan da der Region Gilgit-Baltisan wunderschön ist und die Berge Atemberaubend sind. Ich bleibe im Gilgit immer in diesen Hotel weil sehr sauber ist, das Personal und vor allem der Chef um die Gäste sehr bemüht sind, es gibt gratis W-LAN und es funktioniert immer, warmes Wasser und Strom gibt es immer und das Hotel hat room service und der Rosengarten ist wunderschön. Mittlerweile dieses Hotel wurde zu mein Stammhotel in Gilgit. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Reviewed By erumkhan2017Quality of food is good. Outdoor dining is excellent beause of the well kept garden and view of Gilgit River. Service and staff are good too. However the menu is limited and if you order anything after 8PM there is a possibility that you might not get it. We ordered a simple chicken dish and it was not served to us because chicken meat was not more avaviable in the pantry. Overall it is a nice place to enjoy food esepcially in the evening.
