VERY PICTURESQUE BUT ...!!!
Reviewed By veer2808Going by the rave reviews, we booked our stay in the Riverdale Resort, Gilgit. While the rustic wood-hewn cottages, rushing stream, lush green fantasyland setting replete with apricot & berry trees; and, most importantly, a very caring staff are commendable, RR need to clean up their act by focusing on pristine, dust-free room interiors, adding shower curtains to prevent puddles in the bathroom and offering a wider meal selection. Must do: Catch and eat freshly-cooked trout from RR's on-site trout farm. A good hotel but not in the Resort class yet!

Pathetic Restaurant Service in Skardu
Reviewed By alikhanoo7I visited alongwith my family (5 adults & 3 kids) today (19 Jun 2021) for Dine In. We entered around 2110hrs and asked is the restaurant open? They replied, yes its open till 2230hrs. After 15-20 mins struggle i.e. continuously requesting waiter to come and take order, we placed order around 2130hrs. We asked how much time it will take for order to be ready! Waiter confirmed around 30 mins, we said ok and started waitin. Around 2155hrs waiter came and said "sorry it will take around 90 more mins to get order ready". I said how is this possible when restaurant will close at 2230hrs! He replied means sorry we cannot serve you due to an ongoing party and there are too many guests, though beside us only 2 more tables were occupied. Rest whole restaurant (around 7to8 tables) were empty. I went to reception and asked about Manager, reception guy said Manager left. I told him about the whole issue but he was good for nothing. He said sorry and left. We came here tired after 11hrs journey from Deosai planes and this is how this restaurant is handling customers and wasting their time. Pathetic Restaurant service. Dont waste your time and spoil your mood while you are in this beautiful valley.

Reviewed By waqaspaiThe hotel reception and lobby area is nicely decorated, overlooking the rakaposhi mountains and view of the valley. The rooms are pretty decent with good view of the valley - It also has a garden to take in the views of the valley day and night. The staff was decent and cooperative. The breakfast was acceptable with variety of eggs, milk and tea - which is pretty much a normal and regular breakfast for pakistan standard. The surrounding area has many options for dinning. Several super stores, restaurants and cafes both modern, hip and budget cafes are available. Many shopping options are also very close to the hotel including local handicrafts etc. Baltit fort is very nearby. The rooms are decent with cable tv - The washroom is pretty fine. Just that hot water is only available from 6 am - 10 pm - which is the norm in hunza.

Good for Students
Reviewed By veer030Affordable Hotel, Good for those traveling on Budget. Last time I was here for more than 14 days. So later i was like a family to them. The services were good and the hotel staff was friendly. The only issue I had was about the hot water. And it was solved when complained.

Karimabad is our guests' favourite part of Northern Part of Pakistan, according to independent reviews. This area is also great for shopping, with popular brands of handicraft, Traditional Jewelry, precious stone jewelry, and handmade Gifts all made in Hunza.

Good place to stay at high altitude city
Reviewed By Bilal TSost is the last major city before Khunjrab pass. We stayed here for one day only. Rooms were good and quality food was available. Above all hot water was also available. This hotel is recommended for stay.
