The city is located in a small valley near the confluence of the Gilgit River and Hunza River. Dumani is the restaurant of Serena Gilgit. It has an excellent view of the Gilgit valley. Cooking standard is very good, one of the best that you find in Gilgit. It's very clean and hygienic.They have most popular Pakistani dishes and many Chinese and Continental dishes on the card. Breakfast buffet could have been better and is not of the quality of 4 or 5 Star Hotel. At times they don't fill up the chef dishes in time and one has to wait. Service is ok. Being the restaurant of Serena, the rate of course are on the higher side.

Only place we could find which served trout! Food excellent, good service, modern and clean family dining area, with choice of older restaurant premises next door. Quiet area overlooking the Gilgit river, good price and excellent value.

Food was just okay. Cook was on leave when we went there. Thats why the menu was very limited. We were the only person in whole restaurant. View from restaurant was amazing.
