Reviewed By amalaC5505XYWe booked Comilla Bungalow over a weekend for a family get together of 5 siblings and 5 spouses. The cuisine was amazing , both Sri Lankan and Western. The location is so convenient and the layout of the bungalow is absolutely marvelous, so are the furnishing and the room amenities. And the hospitality is so warm and friendly. We were so sorry we couldnt stay longer.

Our resort is under Dutch management, a clean hotel with lot of room for relaxing. The main building has 3 rooms, furthermore there are 3 cabanas each having 2 rooms that can be booked separately. One of the cabanas has been built with people in wheelchairs in mind and has items as showerchair and higher toilet.

Reviewed By ZKPRClose to the airport, pick up service is reccomendable, not easy place to find. Lovely pool, big houses, quit and in the middle of the nature. Staff is really amazing and so nice with kids! They made is feel so welkcome!

Reviewed By Vidushika123Today I’ve visited this resort and before checking there booked room for 4 hours package and I’ve send my boy to the reception as I was not feeling well.They have took his signature and our ID’s and sent him with room keys.After spending two and half hours we have checkout and my boy went to the reception and as he didn’t know the prices of the rooms he settled the amount they were asking to pay. After around 15 minutes I’ve checked the bill and then realized that they have charged us for day package and charged me extra amount around five thousand rupees just for 2 and half hours. Then i contacted them over the phone and there response was not acceptable. Then I went to their office and the way they treated me was terrible and they said as we have done the payment they cannot reverse this transaction or refund me. Meanwhile the girl who have done this was admitting her mistake but no way of correct that and there were around 5 6 people on the reception and they were all together arguing with me as they don’t aware about customer service at all. As a regular customer I didn’t expect this kind of behavior from a reputed resort like this and never ever wanna visit this place again ????If you’re willing to visit this place don’t forget to check your bill again and again coz they don’t have procedure to correct if there’s anything wrong and that mistake has done by them though coz it’s not about the money we’ve spent but the way they treated to their customers....

Reviewed By rumishab2020Went on a business trip and spent two nights at hermans residents. The bed was excellent and soo compfy. Mr herman let us use the kitchen as well and that was a bonus? WIFI was fast?? Toilet was crystal clean. Mr herman offered us quality Sri lankan tea. HAD A GREAT TIME???? NO COMPLAINS?? FIVE ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ALWAYS

Reviewed By Tisso DGamunu and Yacintha gave us a very warm welcome. He was a former banker and now he loves to invite guests into his home for a very small price. He enjoys talking with his guests and share his view on life without being preachy. It's not very far from the airport and he can pick you up with his cool oldtimer jeep. A stroll through the small community gives the best introduction to the amazing hospitality of Sri Lankan people. He can give you tips on do's and don'ts and his wife is an amazing cook. If you like a cooking class, they let you help make the best potato curry and give you the recipe! Wishing them all the best, Tijs and Lies

Reviewed By PrasunmedBetter place to stay before your flight. This is located just near "attanagalu oya" river. Nice background and nice nature. This hotel is located near colombo airport. Value for money. Staff was friendly. Cleanliness was good. To reach this hotel if you come from airport just after pass bridge you have to go little distance in small road beside colombo Puttam main road. Parking space available. Rooms facilities were good.My booking of this hotel was sri lankan 3500 rupee. It is actually budget price compared to other hotels. Also this hotel is good to relax after long flight. Located near airport. Staff service is medium. They have to improve. Help from staff compared to other hotels is little low. Overall hotel is good to stay before or after your flight.

Reviewed By PrasunmedThis hotel is good to stay because of it's location. If you are traveling by train you can go down from Gampaha Railway station and you can reach this hotel within 10 minutes. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Always they were with smile and pleasent. Rooms were clean with good enough space. Foods were average compared to other hotels. Washroom facilities were good. My booking was 3500 rupee. There was a problem in Wifi. I couldn't connect wifi in this hotel. You can even go outside the hotel and there were nice Sri Lankan foods hotel beside the road. Outside hotel good enough garden is there. You can be relax there. In the morning good nature. You can reach airport too from here within half hour. Average hotel at all.

Reviewed By Angela DWe had a very bad experience: address in Booking.com was wrong, Google maps lead us to a desert road, therefore we drove to address found on Trip Advisor, but nothing. We drove for two hours in the neighborhood asking every person, but no one knew about this guest house and there were no signs in the street. We tried to call the owner but his phone was off and we even tried to email him, but no answer. Therefore we had no other choice that booking another accommodation. The day after we wrote Booking and the owner, he apologized and didn't charge us.
