Reviewed By tonyrB6264YRA room on 14th floor, reasonable size for a Japanese hotel, everything looks new & is well designed. Easy access directly from the train station making it very convenient. There are many restaurants close by, in the same building and around Fujieda-Shi. Hotel breakfast choice is good, plenty to chose from & good coffee. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Reviewed By GB BWe booked this hotel online. Fujieda has very little options for hotels and very little reviews. Travelers, please leave more reviews!!! So we decided to purchase a couple of nights here. It was not hard to find the hotel from the train station. When we arrived we learned we were put in smoking rooms but we don't smoke. We tried changing it upon our arrival and we were told there were no rooms available. It's very upsetting that the online service we used did not give us an option of smoking/not smoking rooms. Very sad the hotel could not accommodate us better. Our room looked very old, walls and furniture had marks and dents. The bathroom looks like a airplane bathroom. Very small, very loud and very old. The smell in the room needless to say is strong and uncomfortable to us. The bed is not very comfortable and the covers are small, it's hard for two adults to share. The room is not dark enough for good sleep in the morning. There is no good views from the windows. The sheets and duvet feels they are made of paper. There is also very bright built in clock on your bed, so it makes for an annoying light during the night as it sits right above your head. The staff speak very little English but they are very kind. My one star goes for the staff that saved this place. The lobby is nice and updated so once you arrive you look forward for your stay, we had a huge disappointment. Next time I will stay far if needed but would never stay here again. I got mention that I'm payment just as much here as my really nice hotel in Tokyo. The price s definitively higher for the area and specially for this hotel. I would say this hotel is 1-2 star max.

Great Stopover

The room is classic Japan Business Hotel style, small but everything you need still in the room. Very clean and well maintained for an older hotel. Water was extremely hot. Breakfast was a great selection but not westernized at all, so make sure you are comfortable with a good Japanese breakfast to start the day. Coffee in a Dixie cup added to the humor, but fit the situation perfect. You will have to pay to park in the area and walk back over as this is a crowded point in town, but the front desk will help with locating a spot, between 500-600 Yen overnight parking in the area should be expected.

Reviewed By へたくそ釣り好きこのホテルは、楽天の現金決済プランで取りました。 仕事での利用でしたが、2名で5,980円（ツイン）と言う破格の値段です。 部屋は必要十分の広さです。 格安ですから、アメニティはフロントから必要な物を持参するスタイルです。 不潔な感じや、不便も特に有りません。 外食をして帰ってくると、夜食のサービスで調理パンを頂けるサービスもあります。 あと、この値段なのに朝食（軽食ですが）でパンとゆで卵がいただけます。 近辺で仕事であれば、ここで十分ではないでしょうか。 フロントの方の対応も良く、必要にして十分なサービスだと思います。 カップルには向かないかな

Budget hotel, but lovely staff
Reviewed By 3MyrtleWe stayed here for 3 weeks in March/April 2019 while visiting family. We’d booked a double room and yes, as a review below states, it was very small. We had two big suitcases and felt it was just too small for a 3 week stay. However the staff were incredibly helpful and we moved to a twin (obviously at extra cost) which was much more spacious. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the same room for the whole 3 weeks as all the twins were booked over the weekends, but the staff were really helpful and we just had to move up and down the same floor to different rooms a few times. They made sure our next room was always ready before we had to vacate the one we were in. And it was our fault for getting it wrong in the first place. Staff didn’t speak much English but they did try and their English was better than our Japanese. The breakfast buffet was excellent. However as this hotel is mostly used by business people, breakfast finished at 9, a bit early when you’re on holiday. There was a coin operated washer and dryer and all the usual vending machines. There was also a free bean to cup coffee machine in the reception area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and beyond
Reviewed By VenneperTo call this place a ryokan would do little justice to the solemn personality of the historic building and its close surroundings. The onsen, the garden, each part of the wooden structure is carefully maintained, spotless, and each ornament displaying wonderful artistic details. The dishes of the dinner were all majestic pieces of art themselves from the sashimi to the fruit dessert. Attractively presented, perfectly balanced, masterly prepared with a great eye for each detail without one single dissonance. Service by the English-speaking general manager and his personnel were correct and professional. Of course, the stay including a no-less impressive Japanese breakfast came with a solid price of around 450 USD for two persons for one night, but given the closeness to perfection that Choseikan offers, it was not excessive. Truly an experience beyond imagination.

Reviewed By karajisibotanタイトルどうり、（まさか？）連発のホテル。怒りを通り越して、もう笑うしかない。他の口コミと、全く同じ状況、同じ意見です。ここは、ホテルかと疑いたくなる。私は国が実施する職業訓練で約１ヶ月程藤枝に行き、その間、国が予約手配した当ホテルに滞在しました。フロントの、オッサン（オーナーらしい）は接客態度が悪い！全くなっとらん！客室の鍵の件は他の口コミと同じでフロントに放置したまま。その気になれば他の客室へ侵入し放題。朝飯メニューは毎日同じ、たいして美味くも無い。客室の掃除は適当、布団のシーツは毎日取り替えてはくれず、備え付けの湯呑み、コップは古い汚れが付着したまま。部屋にはティッシュも無い。ドライヤーは壊れて動かない、エアコン入れると異臭が！朝、部家を出ようとドアを開けると、ドアの真ん前に壊れた大きなチェスター付きの座椅子が何日も放置されていた！洗濯機、乾燥機は有るが古くて、時々動きが怪しい、なのに有料、しかも少し高い。ホテルでは当たり前の、使い捨てT字カミソリ、使い捨て歯ブラシ歯みがき粉も無い！（本当は有るのに、こちらから指摘しないと出さないようです）また、カミソリが無いので置いて下さいと言うと、不機嫌顔で（そんなに髭、濃くないでしょ？）と。まだまだ全然書き足りない。言い出したらキリが無い、本当に最高のホテル！先に書いた事情で、自分で金払った訳じゃ無いので、怒りも笑いに出来ましたが、自分で金を払って泊まりには行きたく無いです(笑)。後にも先にも、こんな最高なホテルは無いでしょう。ﾀﾀﾞなら泊っても良いが。最高のホテルです。

Reviewed By rarapurara65車で仕事帰りの酒肴の席、車を駅前に停めて自宅まで終電を気にしながらだとゆっくり出来ないので安価なビジネスホテルを探しておりました。 いずれにせよ電車代、駐車場代を考えると車を駅前に停めて帰るにはお金と労力がかかります。 こちらのホテル、このコストパフォーマンスで朝食、駐車場が付いているとの事で決めさせていただきました。 フロントは前払い制でアットホームな感じで何人かでやっておりました。 部屋は4階で窓は開きませんが特に匂いもなくテレビもエアコンも完備、充分です。 洗面所は狭いですがお風呂はユニットバスでしっかりとシャワーもお湯が出ます。 朝食は1階の部屋でご飯とお味噌汁を丁寧に盛っていただきました。お代わりも自由です。 それでこのコストパフォーマンスなら充分です。
