This a&o in beautiful Graz is located right by the main railway station. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the city’s gorgeous surroundings by train. From here, you can walk to all the sights; the tramway stops right outside your door. There are 119 cosy single, double, family, and multi-bed dorm rooms. It also features tabletop football, billiards, a bar and book swap, a children’s corner, and a meeting room. And when we say centrally located – well, we mean it: Eggenberg Palace is just 15 minutes away.
Very good accommodation for a short stay
Reviewed By bcerov949637This is a very good accommodation for a short stay. The room was clean, it had all the amenities that we needed (towels, toilet paper, soap). The TV is too small, but we weren't there to watch TV, so it doesn't really matter. The room (4 beds) is also small and there are no cupboards. Our room was facing the street and it was impossible for me too sleep due to all the traffic and noises. On the plus side, I didn't hear any of the guests. The breakfast is ok, but I think it's too expensive.

Great Family Hotel
Reviewed By SannieH-RThe hotel is situated on the outskirts of the town of Mariazell. A car is needed. Perfect Allrounder for families. Great breakfast buffet and dinner buffet selection which meets everyone’s needs. Quality was better than expected. The hotel has great children facilities from indoor playroom, table tennis room, swimming as well as playground. Enough to keep the children entertained no matter the weather. The hotel was clean and service was very friendly. A pat on the back to those who work in the hotel behind the scenes. Room itself was small but the beds are comfortable plus a large hall into the rooms made up for the room size as it was perfect for storing family luggage. We came as a group with other families and we would definitely return.

Fantastic value
Reviewed By Colin PI stayed here recently for one night while on a motorcycle tour of Austria and Germany. My room was at the front of the hotel with great mountain views and the room was lovely and big. The hotel is clean and serves a good breakfast which is included in the room rate. They do not have a restaurant but there is a big hotel 10 minutes walk away which was very good. I would certainly stay there again If I was nearby,and,yes, there are a few hedgehogs about !

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Außerdem hat sich die Gastgeberin Zeit für Gespräche genommen. Vielen Dank! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Reviewed By Milos VMalebný penzion na řece Salza již uprostřed Alp v blízkosti některých "dvoutisísovek" je krásným zastavením pro turisty, kteří z předhůří Dolních Rakous rádi poznávají i další oblasti jižněji než je oblíbený Hochkar či západněji umístěné štýrské poutní městečko Mariazell. Komfortní pokoje pro dvě až šest osob s možností vydatné snídaně na objednání jen dokreslují rámec okolní přírody. Čistota, wi-fi zdarma a vlastní parkoviště je samozřejmostí, stejně jako konverzace v češtině a slovenštině.

Great 5 night stay!
Reviewed By Grace_NaylorWe had a lovely 5 night stay at the hostel, the staff were great and so was the continental breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby Gesäuse national park ( you will need a car), and the bar area is a great place to relax after a day of adventure. Didn't want to leave. Highly recommend :)

Il paese è veramente piccolo e a parte le terme che sono a 5 minuti in auto c’è poco altro, però è molto caratteristico e ben tenuto. Appena arrivi si ha proprio la sensazione di tranquillità, zero stress, calma e silenzio molto in sintonia con l’ambiente termale. Questo alloggio ha 3 camere, tutte al 1°piano, la ns. era più un monolocale, molto grande e spaziosa come anche il bagno. Tutto molto pulito. Si può utilizzare la cucina e volendo in camera sono presenti degli snack a pagamento e in corridoio c’è un frigo con varie bevande anche queste a pagamento, una sorta di ‘frigobar’ ma a prezzi modici. Buona la colazione, standard ma varia sia nel salato che nel dolce. Wi-fi funziona bene. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile, oltre al tedesco parla un po' d’inglese il minimo per farsi capire. Per il check-in bisogna avvisarla e in 5 minuti arriva. Il pagamento è solo in contanti, no carte, ma volendo c’è una banca a pochi passi per il prelievo. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consiglio vivamente
