It is a colonial style house in the French style of the 1940s, located in the historic center of the city, just 150 meters from the seafront and 50 meters from the Paseo del Prado Cienfuegos. It has five double rooms and one triple, all with great comfort. It has on the upper floor a beautiful terrace with internet access and an area to take sunbaths. On the third level has a bar-restaurant overlooking the sea and the entire city. In its surroundings you can find several cabarets, art galleries, museums, among other tourist attractions.
Noisy and impersonal
Reviewed By MtotheTillsIf you’re looking for the kindness and atmosphere of a casa particulares: do not book a stay here. We had quite a rude and impersonal welcome. The host didn’t speak a word of English and was not willing to try and understand our attempt to speak Spanish. The room on the ground floor was fine and the bed was amazingly comfortable. However, it was INCREDIBLY noisy and loud. Although we do not mind liveliness at all, it was as if our room was out on the street. The restaurant on the top floor served a good breakfast and offered the possibility to have dinner - which was also quite good. Location was OK: walking distance to centre. Punta is quite far though.

We offer to our guess a colonial house in excellent conditions, built in 1920, with more than 110 m2 of roofed surface that provides a fresh and pleasant temperature all over the year. Our customer will be able to enjoy hallway, living room, second living room, two bedrooms with private bathroom and corridor. The colonial style combines with all of the modern comforts; we guaranteed total privacydelivering the room key to the guest. We will guide you to the tourist best options of the city and close places. Our Cuban cuisine offers several and delicious dishes of the international food and from the house. We are just 350 meters far from the bus terminal and train terminal and to 400 from the main street of the city “Paseo del Prado”. The room #1 has a double bed and additionally a personal bed, the room #2 has two twins beds, both rooms have: air-conditioned, windows, outlets for 110 V and 220 V, private bathrooms with cold and hot water and minibar.
A good time in Cienfuegos
Reviewed By CaroB30862I spent the last 3 nights at Abels and Dileydos house in Cienfuego. I loved to stay with them and got to know a lot about life in cuba. Their home is in the market street, which happens on saturday, close to the Viazul bus station. I enjoyed the talks very much with Dileydo every day. Their house is very bright and very very clean. I got even a washing serving because my laundry was very dirty after 2 weeks on a sailing boot. You can reach the center by walking easily, it is about a 10 minutes walk thru the Allee. Many helpful tips and a great breakfirst made my holidays very special. Thx to all of you

Colonial house located very central in the city, in a very quiet street. It has common lounges and a terrace, as well as three rooms with air conditioning, fan, TV, hot and cold water, refrigerator. In the house we offer breakfast, dinner and bar service and wifi internet. We will do everything to make you feel at home.
Great location, friendly hosts
Reviewed By jackier64We stayed with Iliana and Freddy 26-29th December 2019. Our hosts were friendly and very welcoming indeed. We were well looked after, and had beautiful breakfasts of fruit,eggs,rolls, and Iliana even gave us biscuits to take along on our day excursion in case we got hungry. Rooms are air conditoned and very clean, and there is a plessant roof-top terrace too. Freddy and Iliana are kind, caring and helpful. They arranged our transport and excursions, and staying with them was like being with family...nice and relaxed. The Casa is centrally located, and within walking distance of most sights. Thank you to Hostal Rivero, Ilaiana and Freddy for making us feel so welcome, gor all the good food, care and kindness you showed us whilst staying in Cienfuegos. We hope you are all well. La habitación es obscura y no tiene demasiado sitio para dejar las cosas, da la sensación que todavía están haciendo reformas. PERO los desayunos en el jardín son fantásticos, la relación calidas-precio insuperable y Daiana es una increíble anfitriona, la más amable que he encontrado en Cuba.

Lovely house, nice hosts!
Reviewed By WorldTvlerParker_COLoved this house on the corner....rooms big, bathrooms great, all amenities...hot water, soap, A/C, refrig stocked. Breakfast good (they actually had REAL cheese). Only spent one night here, but loved hearing the clip-clop of the horses along the street....and easy access to the main street and walked everywhere.

A nice room in a beautiful position
Reviewed By Giulia BWe arrived in the afternoon at El Farito and we found a room without any reservation. The position was lovely, in front of the sea and the lighthouse, and there is a roof-top to enjoy the sunset while drinking the cocktails prepared by the hosts. The welcome we received was warm and kind, we really had a very good stay. We also like the style of the bedrooms and the breakfast. I recommend this accomodation to everybody who wants to stay out of the town, close to the beach.
