Good manager, crappy rooms
Reviewed By Tauseef Zfor the price the rooms are not good, they were dirty, actually, professionally they do not know how to maintain a room for incoming guests, the manager is a nice guy but he could do a lot more, the problem with Kalam is that there are actually not many nice places to stay so when going to Kalam take feedback from people who actually stayed at places. If you do end up at this place then negotiate hard.

Reviewed By WorldTravelerHappyTourist Cottage Hunza (A Traditionally-Built Budget Accommodation surrounded with Natural Beauty) Just step in the hotel/ cottage, i.e. Tourist Cottage Hunza (TCH) and you will feel as comfortable as at your own home but this time the home is surrounded by the nature at “Near-Heaven Vicinity”. A traditionally-built budget accommodation, with magnificent breathtaking landscape, which others offer with a higher price tag. The cottage is at a perfect location of Hunza's main bazar, i.e. Zero point, Karim Abad Road, Hunza. and has great views of Hunza and Nagar, especially, the amazing view of Rakaposhi mountain from the deck of TCH. The place is surrounded by green trees with secure and peaceful environment. The limited personnel, that taking care of the cottage, always ready to welcome their guests and try to comfort them with best of their efforts ever possible. The owner of the HTC, “ALI Bhai”, is a great person, down-to-earth, very kind, humble, friendly and sincere by nature: always ready to help beyond his means even in the matters that not comes under his duty as a host. And the cook “Aslam Bhai” is so modest, servile, submissive and dutiful person, extremely willing to perform his kitchen work as per demand of the guests. Cooks delicious and tasty food, till dawn to late-night. We landed there, initially, for a couple of days but after experiencing the hospitality of Ali Bhai and Aslam Bhai, along with calm, pleasant, peaceful and nature-filled family-oriented environment, we spent all of our tour days at TCH by making it our base station, and we were not gone wrong by staying there. The only issue there is weak wifi signals, that can easily be avoided by obtaining SCO's network SIM. [The SCO (Special Communications Organization) is a public sector organization working under Ministry of IT & Telecom, Government of Pakistan that operate and maintain all telecom services in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan].

Reviewed By TashijeeWe visited Nathia gali a few years back, it is a beautiful place to be, one of the best lications in pakistan. These chalets are nicely placed, but their maintanance is not very good. I couldn't sleep because the beds were not comfortable and they were smelly. The mat infront of bathroom was wet throughout our stay but we still enjoyed because nathia gali is very beautiful
