Pathetic Restaurant Service in Skardu
Reviewed By alikhanoo7I visited alongwith my family (5 adults & 3 kids) today (19 Jun 2021) for Dine In. We entered around 2110hrs and asked is the restaurant open? They replied, yes its open till 2230hrs. After 15-20 mins struggle i.e. continuously requesting waiter to come and take order, we placed order around 2130hrs. We asked how much time it will take for order to be ready! Waiter confirmed around 30 mins, we said ok and started waitin. Around 2155hrs waiter came and said "sorry it will take around 90 more mins to get order ready". I said how is this possible when restaurant will close at 2230hrs! He replied means sorry we cannot serve you due to an ongoing party and there are too many guests, though beside us only 2 more tables were occupied. Rest whole restaurant (around 7to8 tables) were empty. I went to reception and asked about Manager, reception guy said Manager left. I told him about the whole issue but he was good for nothing. He said sorry and left. We came here tired after 11hrs journey from Deosai planes and this is how this restaurant is handling customers and wasting their time. Pathetic Restaurant service. Dont waste your time and spoil your mood while you are in this beautiful valley.

First hotel with indoor air quality monitoring system
Reviewed By 149zulfiqaraHad a chance to stay in this hotel last week along with my family and was surprised to see that the hotel has an indoor air quality monitoring device installed as part of customer care. I think this is probably the only hotel I have stayed in Pakistan that cares about what air customers breathe. Traditionally, Lahore has one of the worst air quality in Pakistan but it is good to see that the hotel uses air conditioning and air purifiers to maintain good quality of air.

Reviewed By SYM1985We stayed here for around 8 days ... the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good ... the hotel rooms were clean but could do with new toilet facilities ... staff were very kind and friendly. In the evenings we would go to the restaurant (near the laundrette and fun fair area) for a hot drink or a snack ... really nice atmosphere with entertainment in the evenings. If I went pakistan again I would defo stay here.

Reviewed By KoplikspotLocation is great near Dolmen Mall and also mini parks are just a few blocks away. Checking in was so easy, i came in early but still they accommodate me well. Room is spacious and clean. Also, toilet is clean and dry with no unnecessary odor However water from the shower takes time to get warm buts its fine its not a big issue unless you are in a rush. food is also great but choices are limited otherwise its tasty. staff are also very helpful and courteous.

Reviewed By veer2808Going by the rave reviews, we booked our stay in the Riverdale Resort, Gilgit. While the rustic wood-hewn cottages, rushing stream, lush green fantasyland setting replete with apricot & berry trees; and, most importantly, a very caring staff are commendable, RR need to clean up their act by focusing on pristine, dust-free room interiors, adding shower curtains to prevent puddles in the bathroom and offering a wider meal selection. Must do: Catch and eat freshly-cooked trout from RR's on-site trout farm. A good hotel but not in the Resort class yet!

Hidden gem in Hunza/Nagar Valley
Reviewed By murti-04Definitely one the most under rated hotels in Hunza and Nagar Valley, its a surprise I had never heard about this hotel before! We stayed for only 1 night on our way from Islamabad to Hunza and wish we could have stayed longer, the hosts Akhtar and Tariq are gracious and welcoming, they were personally attending to all our requests and chatted with us explaining the history of Minapin and Nagar Valley. Such a pleasant experience just meeting them. The rooms were super comfortable with running hot water, and the best part is the garden where you have your evening tea and dinner, lastly the breakfast was the best we had in our trip!!
