Reviewed By ckmanaloWe booked an entire house using Towa Pure Cottages. They offer a wide variety of accomodations from hotels, cottages, glamping, resort cabin/log houses, and designer houses around Nasu. Guest benefits includes free admission tickets to the nearby parks like Nasu Highland Park (rides for a fee), and Rindoko Lake Ranch. The house that we booked is called Momijigaoka #46. It has a warm feeling with a knotty-pine interior furnished country cabin style! Windows and high ceilings bring the outdoors inside while you relax in a comfortable couch. The front deck is perfect for evening barbeques while gazing out at the beautiful nature of Nasu. Our friends grew up in Sagada, eventually worked in Baguio City -the summer capital of the Philippines- and they give this place a thumbs up. ?? The nature, the trails, the fog ? totally brings back the memories of their hometown! ? The house has both japanese tatami and western style rooms. It also has an open-air bath we all love! I usually bring my own cleaning supplies, but didn’t use any because the house was spotless. Needs a kitchen mat, dish cloth, and a hand soap tho. ? The only down side is there are no fans and ac’s in the rooms! We could open the windows but it wasn’t enough at least for us. ? Glad our friend brought 2 fans so we were able to sleep comfortably. ? Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Very relaxing away from hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great time with our friends and we will surely come back and stay longer this time! ?

Superb view from your room!
Reviewed By pang5555I stayed for one night during my visit to Nikko in November which is autumn season in Japan. I stayed in the cottage room which is separate from the main building. However, you will get the superb view from the window of your room - colorful leaves and trees, mountain and Kinugawa river. The onsen is also great - large indoor and outdoor onsen.

A little gem
Reviewed By Skyb0wA great little stay away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in a cottage with 2 king singles and 2 futons on tatami. They have a kitchen and bathroom and even a hammock which the kids loved. So peaceful and great pasta at the restaurant. Included in your stay is also entry into the onsen and taco rice buffet for breakfast. There are also ger-style 'tents' available for glamping. Need a car to get here. I also highly recommend the restaurant on site for lunch/dinner, which has some yummy pasta dishes made from vegetables grown in their gardens.

Reviewed By Mariano SIttan Guesthouse is great for those who want more out of a guesthouse than simply a place to stay. The owner is incredibly kind and you can easily conversate with him anytime (he speaks English well, so he's there for foreigners too). I like the rooms since the wooden interiors look cosy, and staying there during winter has given me some of the best views yet. I also cannot stress enough how delicious the food is, and how big the portions are! Only 800¥ as well, that's incredibly cheap, as you get two plates and big portions (lots of meat too). You will eat along with the owner and the staff, which is more enjoyable as you can enjoy a good conversation over dinner. I had fun at Ittan and in the Nasu area, so I'm happy I went there! (My stomach was very happy as well haha)

Reviewed By Chivi-Chocoかわいいバス停のある村の入口からメルヘンな世界が始まります。全ての建物の外観から内装、小物まで徹底的２歳のこだわって作られていて、ヨーロッパの森のコテージに滞在している気分にさせてくれます。ちょっと人見知りな猫ちゃんたちが散歩しています。 Kitchenに備えられている豆をミルで挽いて淹れたコーヒーでリラックス。最高です。 優しいオーナーには、帰る際にはこちらの車が見えなくなるまでお見送りをして頂きました。

Reviewed By fumitaralove2回目の利用。 犬と同宿出来る宿泊施設を各地で探して泊まっていますが、わん'sさん最高です? 【良い所】 ・犬中心(あれはダメ、これはダメがありません) ・コテージなのでのんびり ・部屋はきれいで、殆どの物は揃ってます ・食事が美味しい(今回もすき焼きにしました) ・食事は部屋でもコテージの外でも? 【注意する所】 ・場所が分かりにくい(一度行けば大丈夫) ・駐車場への駐車(コテージAの場合) また、伺います！

広いドッグランと焼きハマグリ
Reviewed By akio9jp犬と泊まれるコテージが合計5棟点在していますが、昨年5月にオープンした「そら」に宿泊しました。1階はサブ寝室と浴室、2階はメイン寝室とリビング・ダイニングで窓が広くて見晴らしが良かったです。ただし、階段が狭くて急なうえ2階には転落防止柵もなかったので、犬が落ちないように荷物でガードしておきましたが、工夫してほしいところでした。海岸までも遠かったです。なお、ドッグランが広く起伏もあったので犬達も喜んで遊んでいたし、近くの鮮魚直売所で材料を仕入れて「焼きハマグリ」を楽しめたので満足しました。

暖房が良く効いて快適
Reviewed By masaちゃん忘年会をするために利用しました。11人一部屋でしたが、ゆったりしていました。最初は寒くて震えていたのですが、そのうちに暖房もよくきいて快適でした。バーベキューセットはお肉が結構なボリュームでお腹いっぱいになりました。バス停がすぐ前で便利です。

Reviewed By arumako772016年1月に利用しました。ここのコテージは、毎年、秋と冬に利用しており、管理がゆきとどいて、きれいで設備よく住み心地はとても良いです。冬は、マキストーブを付けてとても暖かいですね。徒歩2分で「峠の湯」温泉へも行けます。
