Reviewed By DayTrip814683Had to stay here unfortunately due to a timeshare promo. Staff was never working, lady manager always had a justification for our complaints. Hot water is non existent there, water actually shut off at 10pm and didn't turn back on until after 9am on day. Bar girl inside the lobby very rude, we asked for her to call the manager who had vanished for over 40 minutes and she said she didn't have a number to call her at. Free breakfast? Never. You have to go ask the same unhelpful bar lady for food and she would go and hide in the kitchen so no one would bother her. Then, the TV sucks, bad service, one day it wasn't even working, had to call the non existent staff again! Had to ask for towels because they wouldn't replace the ones in the room during room cleaning. Bathroom shower was super dirty with dirt streaks down the tub, GROSS. You get what you pay for. If you stay there, make sure you are barely in the room. WIFI didn't reach the room, so NO WIFI. Safe in room was broken, so not safe to leave anything in the room, they even disclaimed that!

Reviewed By 607sarikI came here after really bad experience in Punta Cana Majestic Mirage. Dont chooce that hotel for your safety. But in Bayahibe Tracadero Hotel and Resortst it was really great. Nice appartement, very caring host and staff. Staff was english speaking, very kind and caring , but not disturbing you, like I get the feeling I was in the wrong way disturbed in majestic mirage. In majestis mirage the food was like in every "chain- restaurant" , but here in Tracadero food was great. And athmosfere sophistiicated, restaurant staff behaved just as they are supposed to do. Everybody was nice and helpfull. They know the ethicets. Do not go to Punta Canas crowded overpriced all Inc places, came here to Bayahibe Tracadero! You will get good service, food, and relaxing, not "partypeoplecrowded" hotel style. And here you feel safe and cared. Evening entertainment was also stylish and local, not just playing european hits.

Reviewed By WhiteDarrelI read some of these other reviews, and frankly was embarassed by the entitlement and spoiled behavour some tourists confessed to in thier reviews. A resort this is not. However, it is 3 blocks from one of the best beaches in the world. All the best tours will pick you up at BAM market a block and a half away. The staff here is accomedating, friendly, and tolerant of me speaking English at them constantly even though its kinda rude to do that. They have a nice open roof level terrace to drink rum and hang out on at night, and enjoy an included breakfast - usually yohgurt, cut up fruit, sandwich, coffee, and passionfruit juice. This is a good location in a rapidly developing country I would recommend this spot and return someday.

Reviewed By Carloss75200169I truly believe that if anyone is going to stay at this Resort I hope you read this review before booking and book at the other Resort Tropical which is much nicer, cleaner, and better service. To start off it was my birthday weekend and the first room we checked-in too the bed mattress felt like a kid mattress and I could feel the springs on my back. After the 1st night in that room we complained and we were moved to the same room just 3 floor ups. This room the tube was clogged and the sink too. We complained with guest service and front desk and they did nothing about it for 2 days by the second day we ran out of beer and water and we called to get the fridge refreshed and we never got any water or beer for the remaining of our stay which was 4 days later. the service sucks and the beach is not in that resorts its at the other resort which you have to take a shuttle to get to since its a long walk in the heat and up/down hills streets. the pool looked green and dirty and the restaurant at this resort really suck. They had not flavor and taste nasty. The bar only had 4 options of alcohol and it tasted like crap. Our stay was horrible and the Resort took us on a tour to upgrade our wrist band which turned out to be a lie since we didn't buy one of their timeshares and don't fall for the 1 hour tour cuz it was 4 hrs. of nothing and prices were crazy expensive. The COVID-19 test to return was done at the other resort Tropical which was a lot nicer and cleaner. We had to wait almost an hour to get the test done to then get the results back at our hotel after they tell you to wait for the results there which we wasted another 45 mins for nothing. The people working there accept you to tip them every time you ask or want something if not they don't service you or they just walk away and forget you ever asked them.

Reviewed By twkingstonWe stayed a week at El Magnifico in April 2022. We stayed in a 3 story building (2nd floor) beside the pool. Beautiful landscaped property. Very private and quiet but only a very short distance from the main Cabarete beach and restaurants. Michele and Vanessa at the front desk were very helpful. Highly recommended!!

The chef really knows his way around all courses - salad dressing was freshly made and very flavourful, pasta cooked to perfection with choices of sauce and seafood, salmon and mahi mahi also presented very well. Desserts were delicious! Service by Wilton was top-notch! We would cheerfully enjoy the experience again. Take your time, relax, and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Reviewed By CshyrMy family and I traveled to Cabarete for the first time a week ago. This place was a wonderful home away from home. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They arranged airport transport and made helpful recommendations for our day trip to Ocean World. The condos are well appointed and extremely clean. The cleaning staff came daily to clean and ensure everything was working well. The condos are right on the beach. And while the pool is small…it was perfect for us. We can’t wait to come back!

Extremely Friendly, Helpful, and Clean
Reviewed By Nick ZI’ve been traveling to the DR for work and fun for the last 12 years and have stayed in more hotels here than I can count. I’ve stayed here three different times and can’t recommend it highly enough Extremely professional and helpful. I asked to stay an extra couple of hours this last visit because I was doing a late afternoon scuba dive and they were so nice about it. It’s located very close to a number of good restaurants and not far from the beach, bank, or grocery store (not just a colmado but a grocery store). If you’re not the resort kind of traveler (which resorts suck), this is exactly the kind of place you want to stay.

A pool see view The beach is only at 2mn walk distance, main street is also at a 3 minutes walk with restaurants, shops, food, french bakery. We are away from the noise in a quiet dead-end street.

The place is very cool, right in front of the beach and with super nice terrance with seaview and amacas. The room was clean and with the right dimensions. The breakfast typical from the place and personell kind. Only little note, they don't provide bathroom towels. Definetly recommend for staying at las galeras.

Reviewed By proper wThe staff at Residencial las Palmeras were great. Emily was always there when ever we needed something or had a question. The Penthouse that we had overlooking the ocean was amazing. I recommend anyone that is going to visit Boca Chica that they stay at this resort. Will definitely make reservations again here.
