It is owned and managed by the artisan's family and is open only from October to March. The resort promotes Endogenous Tourism where one travels not just for pleasure, but also to appreciate local community and their life in rural Gujarat. "The Endogenous Tourism Project in Hodka village seeks to promote local culture and craft based tourism for sustainable livelihoods and integrated rural development. Its aim is to improve the local people's quality of life, by creating more livelihood options, while preserving and allowing the community to develop their unique culture and share it with visitor." The use of local architectural style, the intricate art & crafts is very evident as soon as one enters Hodka Rann Stay. Hodka village is not very far (18km) from the Rann of Kutch ( White Desert, Rann Utsav) region.

Reviewed By I3858XZsachinkMy wife , 10 year old daughter and I stayed for 1 night and had the most pleasant experience. Ajay is fantastic as a knowledgeable host and knows the desert so well. We did a safari and loved the place and views. We spotted lots of birds,jackals, wild hare, Neel gai and of course the wild ass. My daughter especially was over the moon as she could also spot stars in the clear skies. Ajay also took us to a salt farm and the farmer’s family was so kind and offered us tea. Our stay was extremely comfortable as the place was simple and clean. A big shout out to Ajay. Not to forget the freshly prepared, vegetarian meals were a highlight too. I strongly recommend this place as an authentic and relaxing experience for all nature lovers.

Orsang Camp has 2 Machhan (tree house), 8 AC deluxe rooma. The River Orsang is hardly what one would call tame. The Orsang Adventure and Nature Camp is a paean to this majestic river. A wonderful mix of delightful nature and Eco Friendly adventure, this camp is close enough for easy access and far enough to cut yourself off from the everyday humdrum. Whether it's action-packed adventure or just a chance to get closer to nature.
Rude staff, no COVID precautions
Reviewed By ChirayuCI have been to Orsang Camp a couple times before. They are a mass caterer meaning they want large groups of rambunctious high school or college kids. That is the crowd they want. Not really for small families or couples. The food is edible. So, given the status quo and the government mandate of social distancing and precautions, we gave them a call for a booking for a family of 6. Following is what the person on the line said: " We have limited the number of people at our camp from 600 to 200, that is the only precaution. We don't temperature screen the guests and our swimming pools are cleaned once a month, don't know when last it was cleaned." Look at the other reviews, Orsang Camp is rated very bad for Service and Cleanliness. Go to Orsang Camp if you do NOT value your time, money, health and life.

A Great Hangout Place with Friends and Family

All the activities with proper safety.Some activities are very liked such as Rock climbing , rappelling and zip lining. There were paid but but it was thrilling experience as well. We enjoyed a lot.Specially all meals were tasty.Staff was very helpful and supportive.Would love to visit again in future.

Reviewed By Rishi MWe stayed at this Farm stay for 3 days and none of the day we felt homesick or frustrated at any of the services that were provided to us. In fact, we felt much closer to home. Every minute that we spent here was worth it and it helped us experience something new. If you try to locate this place on Google map, you will find it at right on the epicenter of Bhuj where Mandvi beach, Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, Lakhpat or even White rann at the manageable distance which is something great about this place apart from the having wonderful host who are eager to serve you and have interaction with you. Of course, if you choose to have some privacy, they would happily provide the same. . It was heart touching to see someone who have prepared dinner for you and taken almost care to preserve it hot even when you reach the place 2 hours behind the schedule and on top of that they have made an extra arrangement of fruits for us, so that we can carry with us since we would be travelling early morning next day. Apart from nice gesture, the arrangement within the tents are also great, looking at the price we paid. The tent were nicely placed in the orchard surrounded by trees and all the basic amenities were provided. It was nice to discover the most comfortable bed away from your home. Also, each tent would be have attached washroom which makes it perfect option for traveler looking for budget stay. Lastly, special mention to Jadeja Sir, Jeet, Akanksha and Sambhit to share some amazing stories of their lives, people in village and history of the place. Terrible experience in the name of luxury
Reviewed By kaushikpatelvisited in month of july for 1 night, booked 9 tent for entire group. uncleaned bathrooms and very small tiny fan for three person poor quality brand. they charged rs 3500 for extra bed even for 7 year old child. But just one standing fan for entire room which is sufficient for even single person. we have complained for no water since 9 pm and water restore by 12am, till that every one is waiting for water to take bath before going to sleep. arrogant staff member and behavior is pathetic at manager level. they have not arranged any vehicle after laser show they simply told arrange your self.

Reviewed By neville_lawrenceThis farm is located close to Devaliya safari park. This means those people who are booked for Sasan Gir forest early morning (6.00 am to 09.00 am) safari might face some issues with reaching the safari entry gate (Sinh Sadan). Since the farm is located to close to forest area and devaliya park it’s approach roads remain shut between 6.00 PM to 6.00 AM everyday, throughout the year. This means if you have to reach sinh Sasan by 5.30 AM to arrange your Guide, driver and vehicle you won’t be able to reach as roads are shut (there are 2 check posts which remain closed after 6 in the evening and it’s not opened for anyone under any circumstances). So the shorter route or the main route is shut and hence one has to take a very long, not so good road to reach sinh sadan/ safari entry gate. Rooms are ok ok. Little cleaning will help look it even better. Food is freshly made, local, tasty and plenty. Though you won’t find varieties of it. We had three breakfast and all three breakfasts were same, exactly the same. Lunch and dinner too so not have lot of variety. Owner Ramsing bhai is a gentleman and is always ready to help. Staff at the farm too are attentive, helpful and down to earth. We were looked after well during our stay. Those who are on budget can certainly stay here. Those who got early morning safari, remember you have to start from farm at least an hour prior to reach entry gate on time. If you leave even more early nothing like it. It is always recommended that you enter first in the forest. That increases your lion sighting chances.
