Nice hotel above a disco
Reviewed By Mark LThis is a very nice hotel, good staff, nice breakfast, modern, clean and comfortable. BUT! It is above a disco that plays very loud music until 2am. So if you are a light sleeper or want peace and quit, ths is not the place for you When I say loud, I mean loud! The whole building shakes. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! We came for a business meeting but were sleepy the next day. Our room had a nice view of the lake, and was otherwise good.

Reviewed By PLV2REIIt is a shame, that we arrived so late and had no opportunity to get something in restaurant, same with breakfast, we left too early, but still, receptionist was so nice and prepared a coffee for us. Rooms, just like all hotel, are very nice, maybe bit small, but managable. Nice lobby, terace for smokers, shielded from weather.

Spacious suite and great service, five minute walk from downtown
Reviewed By ABW27We enjoyed staying at this hotel so much, we actually extended our stay by three more days, and then *returned* to it for another night on our way back across Ukraine. It is located in a quiet street but is only an easy five minute walk from Teatralna square with lots of great restaurants, cafes, etc. (And there's a good restaurant just a 2-minute walk away, too.). Several parking spots are available for free use by hotel guests. The second-storey room we had was a suite (bedroom and sitting room, plus a bathroom of course), and was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi is fast and works fairly well, though occasionally we had to switch to one of the hotel-provided backup networks (all sharing the same password, so no great inconvenience). Staff was attentive and saw to everything we asked for promptly. When we left, we commented on a couple of small inconveniences (not enough sockets in the bedroom, a poorly-installed toilet seat that won't stay up), and to our delight, when we swung back into town just three days later, they were *all fixed* (we got the same room again!). This shows me they genuinely care, and it is a pleasure to be able to recommend the place. We will definitely return here next time we spend a night or two in Ternopil.

Neat hotel, disappointing restaurant
Reviewed By Olga_0612The hotel is cosy and quite comfortable even though there is no air conditioner in the room. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, food was ok but nothing impressive. Big disappointment was when we ordered a glass of re french wine and they brought us clearly sour! After asking when it was opened we ordered one closed bottle to check it out and the taste was absolutely different! I think it’s a shame for a good restaurant. They didn’t charge us for the glass of sour wine but we needed to pay the whole bottle to prove ourselves right. Impression was totally spoiled.

Much better than expected
Reviewed By Kristina SI booked a Standard room at Versal Hotel Ternopil for 1 night from 21 September 2017. I was really disappointed by hotel’s photos on site, but my friend was going to celebrate his wedding at hotel’s restaurant and it was very convenient for me to stay here. The hotel is located in 5-7 minutes drive from Ternopil railway station, the taxi cost about 35 hryvnias (less than 1.5$). The exterior of hotel is really pleasant, it has a free parking outside and backyard. The reception girl was nice and allowed me to check in even earlier than 14:00. The biggest minus of Versal Hotel is that it does not have an elevator of luggage guy, so I had to carry my bag upstairs to the 4th floor by myself. So I do advice you to hire a porter to help your guests with their baggage. So, I was ready to enter and spend 1 night at the old awful room in Soviet style. However, I was really glad to see small, but very comfortable and bright attic room. It has all necessary for 1-night stay - comfortable bed with clean bed linen and white towels, coffee table and cups, wardrobe, clean bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There was no TV in my room, but I had an option to book a room with TV. An iron is available on request. I can really advise you to stay at Versal Hotel Ternopil, especially considering its price – only 320 hryvnias per night (about 13$). And I also ask the hotel to update the information and photos on the web-site, as your hotel is much better :-)

Walk to this Special Lakeside Inn through a Wonderland of Fountains

Sapsan is a five minute taxi ride from Ternopil center but it’s the joy of walking along the lake waterfront to and from the city that makes Sapsan such a wonderful location. The fountain lined pedestrian walkway is a total joy to stroll. The series of fountains and water features are colour changing floodlit turning the lakeside into a night-time wonderland. Lilliputian sized ferry boats ply the lake which was created from a reclaimed marsh. They were doing a brisk business. In the morning canoeists emerged through the mists making for little jetties, Ohrid in Macedonia is one of the few cities which offers anything as breath-taking. The inn style hotel is located on the second floor so be prepared for several flights of stairs. There is no lift. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, we had tea making facilities and a flat screen TV although there was a limited number of channels. Our room had a side view of the lake; the main lake facing rooms were being upgraded. But if you are planning to stay at Sapsan try to book a room with a lake view; there are at least two very spacious suites with great views of the lake which we were show. We got the warmest of welcomes on arriving but staff speak very little English. The hotel also asks to be paid in cash, be prepared. We had a great double room with breakfast for about €40 which was terrific value. The hotel’s restaurant was bustling at night but we wanted to eat in one of Ternopil’s many town center restaurants. Ternopil has a very elegant town square, its train station is just a five minute walk away and it has a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Sapsan though it stands at a distance from the town is a wonderful place to stay in.

Great rooms and food
Reviewed By AaronSpaceFor the low price of $25, the rooms were new and the bedding was clean. All the food we ordered was excellent. Cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are visiting the area. Breakfast is included in the price but with a translator the chef can make almost any local dish.

Reviewed By sls2011amgСам комплекс большой,красивый.Расположен в живописном месте.В номерах уютно.На территории для детей можно найти занятия(бассейн,горки, катамаран)Цены кусаются.Как на номера так и развлечения.Ресторан почему-то работает в определенные дни,но можно покушать в баре.Единственное что утомило так это гости, которые стараются припарковать авто прямо у входной двери домика(не своего прошу заметить) и я не шучу.Стоянка есть но до нее 15 метров нужно идти.....напряжно.Неплохо было бы еще дороги нормальные в деревне на подъезде.Ну то такое.
