We ate at the Warung for every meal during our time in Munduk because we just loved the family and food there. Everything cooked from scratch and super chill vibes. In the center of Munduk. Reviewed By simona rWe liked this place so much that we booked two more nights here. A remote village surrounded by coffee plantations was exactly what we needed after crowded Ubud. Rooms are very nice and cosy, the views are amazing with the possibility to see sunrise and sunset. Relaxing by the local waterfall was refreshing as there weren't many people. Very friendly nice staff. I would definitely like to come back.

Reviewed By steve oOne of our favourite places we stayed in Bali - the superior room was clean and spacious with a great view from the room's terrace area. We also stayed 1 night in the economy room - it was not as nice but this is expected. Hot water was not working in the economy room when we were there, and there was a bit of a mild smell coming from the bathroom at times. The guesthouse restaurant is excellent and also has a great view. The guesthouse is in a good location close to the rice fields and waterfalls. We recommend this place.

Quiet, relaxed, beautiful views.
Reviewed By Kate RWe were a large group and took five rooms. All rooms were lovely. Large, clean and each had a balcony with a fabulous view. Komang greeted us on arrival and showed us around. He gave us a waterfall map and explained all about the hiking possibilities in the area. The staff were all lovely and seemed really switched on and helpful. The kitchen is small and everything is prepared fresh, because there were 12 of us the kitchen staff were under pressure to get meals out. Our first meal took almost an hour after ordering so on the following meals they suggested we order in advance. We ordered breakfast the night before, and dinner in the afternoon which worked well. Our meals came out on time, fresh and really delicious. I thoroughly recommend the lumpia.

Reviewed By John TAs someone dependant on a wheel chair I was somewhat worried about access to the guest house. However the excellent staff willingly assisted me from car park to room, restaurant and back. The view on arrival was of mist swirling around the individual wooden bungalows. Later it lifted sufficient to see the twinkling lights of a distant towm. The next morning the sun shon over a garden full of marigolds, with views across to the mountains of Java. The restaurant is very well furnished and has a real log fire in the evening. They offer a good selection of Indonesian and international dishes, and have a wide selection of wines. Although unable to experience it, I am advised that the location is ideal for walking in the Bali hills.

We are a small, private hotel surrounded by nature in Gesing Village, right next to Munduk on the mountain slopes of northern Bali. Enjoy the amazing view, get rest and recreation, and enjoy our hospitality. Not having aircon wasn’t a problem (it’s cooler in Munduk at night) but it was difficult to get ventilation into the room because either the windows with insect mesh wouldn’t open or there was a rip in the mesh. The small bottle of water there for us when we arrived wasn’t replenished so I guess it’s a one-time offer! Breakfast was good, but pretty slow - even when we pre-ordered it didn’t seem to make much difference. We ate a couple of other times in the restaurant area - convenient, but basic. Very limited menu, and not much by way of drinks on offer (although they managed to get us some Bintang on the last day!) WiFi was reasonably good. We stayed for 3 nights and it was fine for our needs. First and foremost we wanted a great location close to Munduk, and Lesong certainly delivered in that respect. The setting is beautiful. It’s easy to be critical of places when travelling during a pandemic, but Lesong has most likely just had a really tough year, is a bit out of practice and has fallen a bit behind with a few things. The staff were really lovely - friendly and eager to please. And Lemon the dog is a really cutie.

A small restaurant, overlooking the scenery serves guests staying at the homestay. Meme Surung can accommodate families, single and double occupancy.

Reviewed By John BThe Banyuatis Waterfall in a short walk through ricefields. Mountains all around. Food really good, beer relatively cheap. Balinese huts some overlooking a lovely swimming pool. High enough to be cool at night, so no airconditioning needed!!
