Ngiring Ngewedang is on my 'regulars' when heading north to Lovina, and return. I've been having a fresh juice or coffee and Pisang Goreng if not at a meal time for well over 20 years, whilst taking in the views to the north coast on a clear day.
It frequently fogs in here, but clears about as fast, and that's part of the appeal, sitting enjoying a coffee barely able to see the road 10 metres below.
One of the waiters, a guy in his 40's, perhaps 50's, likes a chat if not too busy, and is a very likable guy, chatting about his family, and telling how his boss is a geat guy.
He told me the place is about to be demolished and more modern premises built which I think will be sad, because it has so much appeal as it is. There is a sister place being built a few kilometers toward Lovina also.

Waterfall-Breeze Eco Cafe 1 "THE THATCH ROOFED-WARUNG and COFFEE SHOP is temporarily Closed !!! The Reconstruction of the restaurant and coffee shop, parking area, access path is still in progress. It will be reopened by the mid of May 2018. Thanks a lots

We went to Eco Cafe 2 for dinner on our first night in Munduk and loved it so much we went back again for dinner another night and to Eco Cafe 1 for lunch after a hike. Their spring rolls with the peanut coffee sauce are incredible!
The staff are wonderful, and we loved hearing about the student & farmer initiative.
Just be careful you're heading to the authentic and original Eco Cafe 1 - on the hike we came across a fork in the road, and there were two signs - the false one reads, '"Eco" friendly coffee shop', with arrows pointing over the bridge, but luckily we chose the high road and found the real cafe. Pun intended. That other one appears to be under the same name and branding to lure people there instead!
Anyway! Thanks Eco for some great meals and friendly service!

Had a lunch here, club Sandwich for me and chicken thigh for my girlfrend.
Great place, nice view and a very wide range of meals on the menu. Indonesian and european style. Our meals both came with very good potato wedges. Next time I'm going to order an extra portion!

This lovely restaurant with rooms makes a wonderful and peaceful base to explore the local area. There's a warm welcome from the staff and good quality food served is served in the restaurant and on the Terrace overlooking the lake.
The rooms are large and comfortable with good bathrooms and hot water. You can walk to the lake easily through the village but transport is a better option to see the many Waterfalls etc in the area.

Initially recommended by our homestay in Munduk, we ended up three times in Warung Classic during our four nights stay. You get blown away by the tremendous view - especially during and after sunrise. The staff was always very welcoming, the prices are very adequate and, most important, we enjoyed the food a lot - don‘t miss the Eggplant Balado, it‘s a blessing!

Tucked away in a secluded spot up on the Mountains, the restaurant offers a compact menu combining Indonesian and western dishes. The view from the restaurant is amazing, staff are very nice and helpful.
The food however was quite average. Had the fried rice and it was all too salty, and the toast was so so.

Made and Iluh are amazing hosts. Always with a smile. The view is awesome. And the food... the food is delicious. My partner had always the same because he really likes fried noodles but I tried different dishes and they were delicious. Not expensive at all and so well served.
And I want to thank them for letting me take a picture of their daughter while she was studying. Gorgeous!

on the advice of tripadvisor we came to this charming coffee shop where we tasted succulent Balinese dishes of extreme fineness with refined flavors. "a marvel for the taste buds" as well as tasty desserts.

The MiMPi (Balinese for "dream") Restaurant Munduk Bali has great views of the Bali sea and the central Mountains. It is truly a dream like environment where your sights and tastes will be spoilt. Natural materials dominate the interior which blends with the surrounding nature through the glass folding doors which surround it. Outdoor dining on the Terrace under our frangipani trees next to the swimming pool or in a private bale bengong (gazebo) is also possible. Table setting includes high quality linnen and flowers MiMPi is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with Seating capacity of fifty guests. No dress code requirements. Hotel guests have first priority on Seating, however outside guests are always welcome. We serve Indonesian, Asian and Fusion dishes using as much as possible our home grown vegetables and fruits. In the evening an organic menu is offered alongside an a la carte menu while guests have a choice of delectable dishes for lunch. More generally, our chef is very happy to prepare your favourite dishes - please enquire in advance. Breakfast options cover Balinese, Indonesian, American and Continental choices emphasising fresh and homegrown produce. Lovely restaurant at the Munduk Moding Plantation. Food is really tasty, authentically Balinese / Indonesian with concessions to western food to cater for families travelling with children who may be slightly less adventurous in their eating habits! Service is friendly and attentive with wonderful views out across the infinity pool to the hills of Northern Bali and the Bali Sea. I ate here every day during my 3 night stay, I had my breakfast outside by the pool and the mixed smoothie of papaya, banana and pineapple was sufficiently delicious that I had one at lunch time too!
