Very friendly and nice big room
Reviewed By BalimassagenActually Frauen Kirchen is our destination place to see Stekovic place, a guy with thousand different tomato. This hotel is just close to the train station but the we did not hear the train at all, it just very quiet place, big room and nicely maintained, the people are friendly. it was just nice and relaxing after big town of Wien. There are also many things to do around Frauen Kirchen area!

Sweet little hotel with thoughtful ideas
Reviewed By roxaineWe stayed four nights with my husband here out of which we dined-in two times. Both times, but especially the first evening the buffet dinner was very tasty: In fact, the best buffet food I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast was also all mornings various and fresh. The room is an average 3-4 star hotel room, the bed was very comfortable. I was only missing a curtain that lets light through but closes off the view from the outside. Since our window was facing the parking lot/ relaxation garden, every time we changed clothes or dressed up in the morning we needed to close the darkening shades to avoid organizing a peep-show. The room was tidy, the amenities were limited. There was a tissue box in the bathroom but it was unfortunately empty even upon arrival. A kettle could’ve come handy especially for those who travel with a small child and need to make formula but this time we travelled as a couple and didn’t need to think of such things. The bathroom was absolutely okay, the shower cabin could even facilitate two people as there were two shower heads on each side of it. The wellness area is a nice plus, wouldn’t be “a must” given the close proximity of Therme Loipersdorf. Two saunas, a steam bath, a tepidarium, a whirlpool and an outdoor pool are offered to the guests. We found the afternoon snack a very thoughtful surprise. Between 14.00-16.00 various teas, infused water, cakes, fruits and a soup can be consumed free of charge. The personnel was attentive and friendly. The hotel could live up to its name “Schlafgut” (Sleep-Well) in terms of bed-comfort, however every early morning some delivery or garbage truck was (un)loading under our window which needed to stay open due to the heat. It’s not that easy to sleep well and long like this. :-) On the other hand, we could fall back asleep afterwards given that breakfast was served until 11.00.

Old and bad quality room, not as on pictures

The reception and the hallway of the hotel was very nice and new but coming in to the room was such a big disappointment. Sadly we prepayed the room before see it in real life so it was a big learn not to prepay ever again. The room is very old-furbished and worn. Very few light in the room, only one bedside lamp, very low water pressure in the shower, had to wait like 5 minutea for a little warm but not hot water. The shower was blightly and the tile was broken from bottom to top. No glass for teethwashing. Cables hanging everywhere in the room... 90 euros was a night for 2 people for this quality.

Reviewed By theodorp_13being there for a 2 night stop onward our ski trip into Alpes....we found the place very nice and all our expectations were met and even better. being small you should understand the limitations. the place is very clean...newly built so there should be a lot of thing you like. rooms are decent in size, bathrooms are spotless and the owner is very nice and chatty. it is a very good option if you need a place to stay near the outlet. highly recommended

Ideal for families BUT also for couples, singles without kids... because they have a quiet, secluded natural pool outside where no children are allowed. Maybe grandparents take the kids to the spa Lutzmannsburg and their parents rest and bake in the sun near the pool... or visit the sauna (also only for people above 16).

A 3 star hotel in the middle of nowhere
Reviewed By BratislavaExperienceAfter having some experience with other hotels in the nearby areas of Slovakia and Hungary, I was a bit let down by the experience at this hotel. It's a 3 star hotel for sure, I thought maybe a 3 star in Austria would be better or closer experience like a 4 star in other countries, but it really isn't. It's a 3 star hotel so you can already manage your expectations. To me, the hotel gives you an experience of a very big villa in the middle of nowhere, so you get a lot of peace and quiet, and also I can say the experience of arriving to the hotel is different as you keep going on on a very rural road. There was absolutely no information in English, the staff did speak some English so that was not a problem, but tv and all paper information I could not read, so that was a pity. I came here for a company training, the room was ok in size and the snacks and drinks provided were great. Since this training was on the middle of August, there was not Air conditioning which made the room hot. And the beamer was quite old, without HDMI connections, luckily one of our colleagues had a laptop that we could use. so keep in mind to bring your own beamer. Rooms were a dissapointment, I could barely sleep on the bed, which was a single bed, reminded me of my bed back in university days, not comfortable and quite small, I would expect for a single room to at least provide a queen size bed, not a single. Food so far has been ok, but the options on the menu are quite limited. The outdoor area is nice for kids with playground and small lake, I do think they would get bored quite fast, but I have also heard we are close to other trails and areas for the family, but this was a business trip so I did not have time. Overall, I expected more of this hotel. Finally, the wifi speed was low and spotty, which made some of the presentations hard to handle.

Amazing wine & excellent food

We learned about wine, enjoyed a fabulous 10 course tasting menu with some gorgeous wine, saw some amazing scenery - lots of wildlife, lovely walks, white donkeys and after all this returned home relaxed, well rested and wiser. What more can you ask!
