Holiday Sri Lanka

My girlfriend and I have just spent the best 9 day holiday ever, staying at The Hilltopboosa Guesthouse. My sister first booked 42 days there with Booking.com and then extended for 30 days more asked us to come over to see Sri Lanka. Our time at Hilltopboosa has been amazing, the rooms are very large with big bathrooms and comfortable beds. Everything is super clean. Ravi”s cooking is just out of this world creating dishes with a local twist and all served in an outside dining area. Peter the owner arranged a tour for us at very short notice, first going by train to Haputale in the tea country, swimming at the bottom of the highest waterfall, and camping overnight in Udawalawa National park. We also managed to ride and wash an elephant at Pinnawala. After all, that spent a few restful days in the tranquility of the hilltopboosa garden amongst the coconut trees and so many other trees and spices. We will NEVER forget this holiday. Thanks Ravi and Peter. Best wishes Michael & Sarah

Ramya Ru Beach Home

Nice garden and beach area

Reviewed By borig

The location is very good, this is really right next to the beach. This is a good place for a couple of days, the garden is very cool and a great place to chill all day. this place is for a nomadic lifestyle for a few days. if you can’t let your comfort go, this place is probably not for you. the only thing that bothered me was a lot of rusty iron, eg: a rusty nail protruding from the bottom of the table, the edge of the stairs is very rusty too. that's pretty worrying.

Kodi Beach Home

The place for perfect sunset in Gallé

Reviewed By kevinkG5072MN

Kodi Beach is a gem. I traveled to Sri Lanka for safe tourism and spent three nights at Kodi Beach this month. The building does require some renovation but this doesn’t stop it from shining along the coast. I booked the sea-facing room on the ground floor. It was spacious and clean. The compound is also big and has a private parking. Apart from benches, chairs and tables in the compound, there’s also a nice swing. The location is strategic as well, because the main town can be accessed by local transport without difficulties and can be reached within minutes. The owner is an old but fit man, passionate of gardening. He showed me his garden, in which he has planted different vegetables and flowers. He has two sons. His son, Roshanka, is very helpful and humble. To him, it’s more than just a business. From the day I checked-in till the day I checked-out, he has provided me with full assistance and also responded to numerous questions I had about Gallé. The price was also reasonable. The sunset view from this place is breathtaking. For anyone who is visiting Gallé, I recommend this place.
