This tour is a MUST whilst in Georgia! It was definitely the best day of our trip! Kakha is an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable about everything! The places chosen to visit was picked out perfectly and well spaced out. From the cheeses to the house and dinner included was amazing and we meet some new friends! The wine in Georgia is fabulous and we are now willing to try many more and took some away with us! Views of the mountains to the old bomb shelter tunnels was truly unique! We have recommend our friends to do this trip next week and if we come back we would it it all again!

TrekGeorgia customized three sightseeing days for our three generations of family (including a 4- and 6-year-old) built around a few days at two different resorts. Leaving from Tbilisi, we went into the wine region, framed by the beautiful Caucasus Mountains. It was a perfect combination of fun (winery, horseback riding, climbing towers, easy hikes), culture (monasteries, museum), and spectacular scenery – all this amid the pandemic. Dimitri, our guide and driver, couldn't have given us a better experience. He was knowledgeable, patient and solicitous with the kids, and super dependable. We really enjoyed his company! It was our second visit to Georgia and we feel very comfortable and safe there. The people we met were friendly and welcoming. If you are traveling to Georgia and want to hire Koba as a guide but he is busy, reschedule your trip for when he is available. He is that good. I am just now finishing a 21 day solo trip with Koba that ranged from the east to the black sea and everything in between. Koba's knowledge of the country is encyclopedic, his good humor never wained and his enthusiasm never faltered. I have traveled extensively and because of Koba, this is one of my best trips. This is my unqualified recommendation.
4. Trekking tour from Tusheti to Kazbegi with only two overnight stays in tents.
This is an eight day trekking tour from Omalo (Tusheti) to Kazbegi region. This is one of the most popular trekking tours in the whole country owing to the fact that the landscapes seen during the tour are truly unique and do not look like other mountainous landscapes from Europe. Tusheti is one of the most remote regions of Georgia which can only be reached during 6 months a year while during the other six months the road is closed owing to avalanches. The architecture there with its beautiful towers and local black stones creates special atmosphere. It is important to note that the first and the last days of the tour will be dedicated for transfers while the total number of trekking days equals to six. From these six days the guests will have to stay in tents only for two nights while the other overnight stays will be done in guesthouses. Zviad gave a great 3 day tour of Khevsureti (we only had time for half the tour). He is a great and safe driver (and it was a rough road) and took us to all the amazing spots. He has good connections with lots of people in the region and as a result we had some great meals. He was laid back and very accommodating (we took our dog on the trip with us). Highly recommended!
