An enjoyable stay
Reviewed By kaisuli71A nice hotel with a good location in center. Free parking next to main entrance. Room was cosy and clean but pretty small. A good bathroom. Good breakfast and also possibility to have lunch/dinner at the same hotel´s restaurant ( good menu!). Staff was very friendly except a one lady who worked at the reception in our first morning. She was not helpful at all and kept all phone calls more important than helping people face to face. She just asked " What is it? Are you checking out?" I said "No, we just have few questions about hiking possibilities". Then she just said shortly "I am on the phone". I said "I see, we can wait". Then she finally came with some information to our questions but ran again back to phone when it rang. We gave up and got help outside the hotel. But she was just she, otherwise the staff was nice and we could come back. Thank you :-)

What a wonderful room
Reviewed By Diana EWe sent one night at the Honeymoon Suite and enjoyed our stay! Very spacious, with a balcony, bug bathroom, clean and simply perfect. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would recommend this Hotel and book again.

Reviewed By RiesstThe Gasthof Hotel Sonne is situated in a adjoining building of the Schloss Hotel Neutrauchburg and is part of health centre. The check-in is done at the Schloss Hotel. The Gasthof Sonne has only 7 rooms which are newly renovated. They are spacious and comfortably furnished. A writing desk, LCD TV, refrigerator and a safe are the standard. The wifi connection is free with a reliable speed (the access code is given at the check-in). The bathroom spacious and bright equipped with a shower cabin. The generously garnished breakfast is served at the Schloss Hotel. The tavern restaurant is in the Gasthof Sonne, newly renovated. The ambiance is modern, sober and lacking the touch of Gemütlichkeit of Southern Germany. The food is high-end traditional German. A menu with finger food is available all day round. Sufficient free parking is on the hotel grounds. There is not much noise from the street. The town of Isny can be reached by bus or by car in a 5 minutes drive. The price level measured on the quality of the rooms and the service provided is excellent.

This hotel is situated next to a brewery and it is decorated with a few beer-related paraphernalia. Good restaurant (typical local cuisine which is tasty; good variety for breakfast) Friendly staff Spacious room (booked double room for 4 people [2 adults, 2 children] and got a very large room with partial wall divider so children had their own room) Clean room upon arrival Large bathroom with good hairdryer (normally hotels have small crappy one attached to wall unit) Negatives: Wifi hotspot very poor. Could not log into it often. Hotel advertises free wifi, so should do something about the wifi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay somewhere which is not a typical chain hotel.

Cute little hotel with a lot of heart
Reviewed By TravelingToastWe stayed here for one night for a wedding. The location itself is perfectly centered in the town (right in the middle of the "walking only" zones). In about 6 minutes walk we were on the other side of town. The parking is free, there was an over deck and parking garage. The rooms were surprisingly big considering how narrow the streets are. There is a kitchenette with fridge and stovetop. Flat screen TV. Bathroom. The breakfast was quaint, not overly huge but really well taken care of and made with love. The woman who checked us in - I believe the owner? - is very very nice and friendly. She spoke with every guest at breakfast on a personal level (I.e. asked us about how the wedding was the night before), gave us tips, directions, etc. And the price is really great. If we ever travel back to Isny this would definitely be our first choice for a hotel. The wedding was at Jägerhof Stadle, a taxi from there to the hotel costed us almost exactly 20€
