Great day out, if you're visiting Gotland you don't want to miss this. Bring a camera and a picnic and enjoy the views and the landscape. Ferry over is free which is a wow for me!

We drove up to Sudersands Strand from Visby for a day out sightseeing the north coast. Sudersands Strand is a nice clean beach, fine white sand and clean clear water. It was a bit windy but there are sand dunes where you can shelter. Quite a large beach that was overcrowded even though it was peak season.

A historic summary of the life and Creations of Ingemar Bergman. It´s interesting but I´d expected moore. I was positively surprised by the child-friendly environment with a playground, creates workshop and without this the Bergman Center had been too boring but anxiety was one of Bergmans specialties...

We were very fortunate to arrive here on a sunny clear day. We had a much stroll along the rugged stone beach and around the bay. It was very windy so not too comfortable to stay there too long. You pay to pack your car in the car part, a small fee of 30kr. The vendor also sells snacks and drinks. A nice little stop while on your way visiting other sight seeing spots around the island.

The center has a permanent exhibition about Ingmar Bergman and Fårö, and also two temporary Exhibitions that change every year. In 2017 there is one exhibition about Persona and one about The Seventh Seal. I'm maybe biased to say, but they are GREAT!!!
