Perfect location were guests can move around by walking, bus or car to places of tourist and cultural interest. it's 2 minutes from the supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, restaurants, the best bars and coffee shops. New, clean and with a great vibe, you will love Conturce Hostel!

The service was great and were very accommodating. Highly recommend coming if you are looking for a great place for a good price.

Situated in an authentic barrio, Casa Santurce is a short walk from the beach, restaurants and popular nightlife spots and is a short bus ride from Old San Juan. The air-conditioned dorms and private rooms each have an ensuite bathroom. There is a communal kitchen with a terrace dining area that has views of Condado Lagoon. Free wifi is available throughout the property. Casa Santurce a 10 minute walk to Condado Beach and 11 minutes’ drive from the airport Luiz Munoz Marin International Airport. The T5 bus route is 2 minutes’ walk from the hostel and can take you to Old San Juan where you can visit Fort San Felipe del Morro and explore the history of the area. The bus can also take you directly to the airport.

Reviewed By Hussam SLOCATION: at Miramar Area about 1 km North to (Condado) Beach & CVS & Walgreens _it's In-between Airport & Old Town plus Bus stop #T5 front hotel that is running among them along the Beaches = 0.75 $ + working from 05-21:00 (Sun. off) _Walmart close =1 km S.E. ROOM: 10-B Dorms Men with 2 small AC + Window + med. size Locker + own Outlet but without (Shelf or Lamp or Curtain) _And It's including inside small private shared BATH have all accessories & Towel. HOTEL: has full shared Kitchen at semi-open area in 1st. floor with all accessories _ And its Terrace with Sitting Area & Hammock & lagoon /city View _It has another hidden small sitting Area at ground Balcony street view beside small reception _I don't use WI-Fi. STAFF: Working Hours from (10-22:00) _they are the best thing in the hotel & they have a good Welcome & Comfortable & Help.

Reviewed By lissiec2022Lissie Carrasquillo NY, NY, USA This is the NIGHTMARE NOMADA! I stayed for 10 days. I made a reservation for a private room and bathroom on the rooftop. When I got there, I was taken to a room on the 2nd floor, much smaller. I paid extra for the rooftop. I understand why they didn't want me there. The European Americans wanted to stay up all night making noise and acting like hillbillies. The bathroom was available for all to use. It was not private for me as they had informed me. Such liars!! There are quiet hours set up by them from 8-10pm. The first day I arrived on 4/12, a group of European Americans continued into the night to talk loudly, play music, make derogatory sexual, racial remarks about black women. They would go into the bathroom connected to room 401 and drop objects on the floor and wake me up in the middle of the night. These conversations happened in front of my door or by the window to my room which was 401. The young lady who checked me in, informed me that every morning coffee was complimentary, However, the changed this as my days continued. On Tuesday, the offered me a "Free Coffee" on the house b/c of the noise disturbance! WOW. At lease this was an admission that they knew the European Americans were making noise. Thank GOD I am not a coffee drinker!!! They said they spoke to "every" guest. I DOUBT that since the cougher kept HARASSING me and you people dd nothing. I am a black girl, had I been a Euro, this problem would have been solved. One major guest (the cougher) each time I came into my room, would magically appear to play music, talk with another person in front of my room, laugh, constantly slamming the bathroom door and use the F word after every other word. He was clearly harassing me. I stayed out of the room from 7:30am-7:30pm, sometimes 8pm. When I reported it to the administration by text which is how they want the guests to contact them, nothing was done. This behavior happened for the 10 days I was there. Unacceptable!!!! The desk staff for the most part was helpful except for the short, heavy-set girl with the smeared red lipstick. She was sarcastic, rude and refused to help me with any issues as she would invalidate my complaints. The hostel has a policy of everyone requiring wearing masks. None of the staff wore any masks. I was the only guest with a mask. They don't practice their own rules nor do they enforce them. There was the European American who has a cough as if he was sick with COVID. He never wore a mask in spite of the fact he coughed constantly and no one from the hostel management ever asked him to put on a mask. Management caters to the European. Room service??? They never cleaned my room. I had to empty the trash and sanitize the 1,000's of ants in the room. I would never in a million years recommend any decent, educated, person to stay in this DUMP! The next time a European American or any other European harasses me and the administration does nothing, I will call the police. I waited and hoped the situation would stop. It never did. They administration checks out at 10pm, Guests are on their own. The roof top chairs are filthy, look at them especially the round white suspended blue cushion chair. The plastic chairs are cleaned by the rain!!!LOL!!!!! Checking out??? They said nothing. I made sure the room was spotless and took pictures b/c the administration refused to check with me before I left. left. Signals went up. Trust is very undeserving here. They smile in your face and behind your back... That's how I felt. Phonies! A better choice would have been Coral by the Sea in Isla Verde. That's my suggestion to the people of color who are considering staying in this Nightmare hostel! NEVER AGAIN!!!

The staff are so great, they're very accommodating and definitely give their best to meet your needs. For late check-ins, make sure you confirm with them what time you're arriving as not all the time they will be waiting for you to get in. They have to get some rest too. Kudos to Carrie, she's a wonderful woman. She waited til the wee hours so she can check me in when I arrived at 4am. Breakfast is $3, served from 9am-11am. Dinner served for free but definitely do the suggested donation for this so they can keep it going. They also have a weekly calendar of night out events, which was great. Everyone is friendly, everyone helps each other and were super chill. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a laidback but fun vacation.

Room 303 Bed Bugs
Reviewed By faexplorerA dirty stained bed skirt in room 303 turned out to be infested with bed bugs. As soon as I noticed it, I packed up everything, and asked the night receptionist for another room. He moved me to the 4th floor. The new room did not have any visible bed bugs. In fairness, I appreciated the front desk staff. I interacted with 3 different receptionists from arrival to check out the next day. All were very nice, the last two apologizing profusely for the bed bugs. The hotel is a short car ride from the airport. They have coffee in the lobby. The rooms did not look very clean. I do not recommend this hotel due to the bed bugs.

H1 Miramar, a wonderful place to stay and enjoy our beautiful island! We are within close proximity to many of the city’s greatest attributes such as Condado beach, Condado Lagoon, La Placita de Santurce, Escambrón beach, Convention Center, and a five minute drive to the GREAT Old San Juan. Additionally, because of our location, we have the benefit of having delicious and affordable local Puerto Rican food within minutes of the hostel. For those who would like to use public transportation, there is a bus stop (T3, T5) just a 5 minute walk that can take you to Old San Juan, Isla Verde, Piñones, and Río Piedras. Our philosophy is simple: we want all of our guests to leave with great memories of Puerto Rico. That being said, we pride ourselves in offering the best customer service and providing a safe, fun, and friendly atmosphere for all of our guests. We regularly welcome guests from around the world, and enjoy catering to each guest’s unique cultural needs and languages.

Reviewed By 373lmgunfortunately I had to cancel the reservation never use the room because it didn't have a lock I didn't have a key for the lock there was no privacy there was no security for my belongings in addition the bathroom was extremely dirty since several people used it at the same time in a middle of a pandemic. Never use the room I cancel the reservation and dont return my money when they said they gonna give it back. No lo recomiendo no regreso
