Seriously once in a lifetime activity! The ride is thrilling and exciting! Everyone enjoyed the activity and it was so picturesque.
We paid 30 soles per person for about 2h until sunset! Otherwise it is too hot.
The only thing we would suggest is for you to choose your driver if possible. Our driver was good (he knew how to ride for sure). Although, he lacked enthusiasm and spend a lot of time on sand boarding. Don't get me wrong, the sand boarding was unique and fun but we really wanted to go back and drive some more. Same for all the other passengers.

Loved the sand boarding. ..it was pretty scary looking down the steep dune head first, but awesome whizzing down. A few of the other girls chickened out of the steep ones....but do it!! ( you may want to pad your bits ;) as it's a bit uncomfortable laying on nuts and bolts - from the shoe holds)
The buggy driving was mental. ..but super fun!!

We booked a full day to Ica with Angel, he was very professional and given us a good deal.
So we visited the wineries in Ica and of course the dune buggy experience, after this day tour, he gotta a taxi for us because we had bus tickets about 7pm.
Very recommend.

I signed up to do 3 tours with them when I was recently in Huacachina. I did the winery tour and it was good. We visited two different wineries and was able to see how the wine and pisco was made. Plus we were able to sample some of course!
The second tour was the sunset dunebuggy and it was fantastic! Our guide was amazing and it was so much fun. Hands down my favourite of the three.
Lastly was the camping in the desert, which is something I had my heart set on. Most of the camping was good. Great dinner, beautiful location, but the guide (Edgar) is TERRIBLE. I am a solo female traveler, but luckily there was another couple who were also camping. Edgar got very drunk and got really handsy. He kept trying to touch me, massage me, put his arm around me. Then when I went off to go to the bathroom, and my pants were around my ankles HE SNUCK UP BEHIND ME AND WRAPPED HIS ARMS AROUND ME WHILE I WAS VULNERABLE. I screamed and luckily the couple came to my rescue. I am scared to think what would have happened had they not cared, or had been asleep. I was then trapped in the sand dunes all night with my attacker until 6am when they sent someone to get us all.

Arrivés en bus Cruz del Sur à Ica, je devais encore rejoindre Huacachina en taxi. Le taximan travaille direct en lien avec Cruz del Sur mais aussi Peru Cheap Tour...le rabattage parfait et organisé.
Le taximan me vante les tours de l'agence et surtout ses prix ( principalement si on se recommande de lui).
Sur Huacachina il y a pas 20 trucs à faire...les agences vendent quasi toutes la même chose.
Moi je voulais conduire moi même le buggy...l' employée d agence me le promet : je conduirai le buggy...bref vous l'avez compris je ne l ai jamais conduit...
Le chauffeur du buggy, Un beau filou aussi : après 5 minutes dans les dunes , il fait une pause de 10 minutes: son moteur surchauffe...le coucher de soleil promis n'est pas des plus spectaculaire: l'endroit choisi pour l observer n'est pas idéal et le soleil encore bien trop fort avant de disparaître derrière une dune.
Je vous parlerai pas du tout en quad "professionnel" d'une heure proposé à 200...US dollars ...alors là j'ai failli tomber par terre direct.. .dans la foulée ils me proposent un tour en quad "normal" à 110 soles... en allant à une agence voisine, je l'ai eu sans marchander à 80 soles.
Cheap Tour doit absolument changer son nom en Expensive Tour.
