As a family of four, we only had a night to get away and wanted to test our camping skills out. We hadn't planned to do a ride, though Jordan, our friendly host assured us as novice riders that the Sunset Ride came highly recommended. She wasn't wrong. It truly was a magical experience! The sweet, sure footed horses and excellent guides made the whole adventure feel exciting and challenging yet our comfort and safety was accounted for. The panoramic views of the valleys and Underberg Mountains completed the experience. Watching the sunset atop a horse in a vast open space does wonders for the soul.

The Underberg polo community who are also club members of Gemini Park Polo Club (Operated by Absolute Polo) are a diverse set of polo players ,are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating to your handicap of polo. Both Brett and Lance Watson are seasoned players and bring their experience to chukkas that greatly improve your level of polo. In addition, the guesthouse accommodation situated on the dairy farm is in full view of the Drakensberg mountains, with Nita Watson providing delicious meals during the stay. A highly recommended experience and we'll be sure to return!
