Poor food preparation - beware!
Reviewed By Tom FThis restaurant has a gorgeous location on Anse Takamaka beach. Sadly after the view everything else was pretty negative, on our visit. I ordered the grilled whole fish and my wife ordered a pizza. We didn’t mind the 35 minute wait as we were in no hurry. When it did arrive I found my fish (grilled red mullet) hadn’t been properly cleaned out before grilling; it still had some fish guts inside which had flavoured a lot of the meat. The waitress wasn’t about for long periods or I’ve have sent it back. The accompaniments were absolutely fine and pretty tasty. My wife’s pizza was mostly raw pizza dough underneath and only melted cheese (little or no tomato sauce) on top. I complained to the waitress about the fish guts and she said “oh dear. I’ll tell the chef”. Whether she did or not we got no other response and we got no apology. I paid the bill, but would certainly not eat there again. This is the only meal on Mahe, I haven’t enjoyed in the last 8 days.

Reviewed By Passcode11I had fantastic time at Charlotte Villa. John and Salifa are super hosts helpful and professionals, I enjoyed my stay with them. John is fantastic chef the meal he prepared is delicious most try. The view is simply amazing and the beach is few minutes walk from the villa. A car is a most as the villa is located upon the hill, and restaurants are only few minutes drive away. Highly recommended this amazing villa!

Situated along a white sandy beach, Surfer's Beach Self Catering Chalets offers 6 modern and high quality chalets, a restaurant and private free on-site parking. Across the main road at the water's edge is Surfers Beach Restaurant. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurant & bar for those who do not feel like doing their own catering. The buildings are newly constructed units in 3 blocks and can be used as a two bedroom by use of an interlocking door for larger families or as single units for couples. The self-catering chalets all come with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Surfers' self-catering has incorporated into one of its chalets disabled facilities for the elderly or handicapped as we do realize there are those who would like to visit these wonderful Islands who cannot because of a lack of such facilities. The premises has internet pre-paid broad band Wi-Fi, voucher cards are available for sale in different denominations for those either wishing to stay in touch with friends & family or for Facebook lovers and also to simply browse the internet. We also offer DSTV satellite quality television with up to 21 channels for your viewing pleasure. Sports, News & Movie Channels.
Three day Mahe visit
Reviewed By dedyottyWe stayed here for 3 days. We had a lovely time. The chalets are spacious for a family of three, and whilst not luxurious, they are very nice and have everything we needed. Including a corkscrew! The view is lovely, and even the steep walk up the hill is good to work off some of the calories gained in the Surfers Beach restaurant. My son 11 yrs loved running around the property to find and pet the many cats, and to visit the giant tortoises. The owner Richard was very nice and extremely helpful. The location is good for the airport and to get across to the restaurants and beaches on the other side of the island. The only minor issue we had was the shower was alittle cold in the mornings, but still usable. The bathroom was really very nice. We will definitaly stay again.

Amazing place !
Reviewed By jimmyrobertsholmMe and my boyfriend stayed at South Point Chalets for our last week of our 3 months trip to Seychelles. We would like to recomend this place. Its a really lovely place, its clean, cosy and so relaxed. The owner Ronelle is a sweetheart. She helped us out with renting a car and gave us lots of good info about where to go and what to see. Always stoping to talk to us and making sure we were good and comfortable. She has the most adorable girl working there, Pascalina. She does an amazing job keeping the place clean and tidy. Always chared a laugh with her and her and Ronelle made us feel at home. They have a beautiful garden and a nice clean pool to enjoy. Parkingspace. Well equiped kitchen. Good saftey. AC. Good waterpressure. We strongly recomend this place. We will keep coming back here. All love from Fia and Jimmy

Buchung wurde kurzfristig durch Unterkunft einfach storniert
Reviewed By andre1234562014Im Februar 2019 haben wir diese Unterkunft gebucht und erhielten auch eine Buchungsbestätigung. Ende August 2019, also 6 Monate nach unserer Buchung und 8 Wochen vor unserem Urlaub wurde die Buchung einfach angeblich wegen einer Überbuchung storniert. Für eine Unterkunft in dieser Preisklasse sicherlich inakzeptabel. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung oder Unterstützung bei einer Ersatzbuchung. Eine weiter Bewertung erübrigt sich daher. Schade.
