Reviewed By Rendi_mamoxcheck in was smooth. room was great, comfort bed, clean and great toilet, quiet so can sleep well. near sugamo JR st. although we can't early check in but you can go around for sightseeing or got some meal. i got private room for single, good value for money if you solo spend night or two in Tokyo.

Excellent well managed hotel with small rooms
Reviewed By SpeedyG-7Rooms are small (maybe 90 sq ft) but that's expected in greater Tokyo. Good value for what you get. Well managed hotel and I was actually surprised how well run hotel is. Only minor negatives are rooms lack safety box and hard to figure out how to call front desk from phone in the room. Didn't notice any english instructions on how to use phone. Hotel can even be more efficient if they allow guests in some way to indicate whether new towels, supplies are needed. Didn't need my room cleaned or made up but housekeeper still left a bag of towels, supplies outside the door every day. Room provided a lot of stuff (like pyjamas) you don't normally see at hotels, esp budget hotels. Great location as mita line station is like 100 m from the hotel and the JR line station is only like 200 m from the hotel. Very impressed with this APA hotel, which is first one I stayed at. I assume it's standard policy to charge extra for early check in, like 1,000 Y for checking in 1.5 hrs before normal 3 pm check in time even though I would be check out at 6:45 am rather than the usual ~11 am check out time. Well organized area in front of reception area to store your luggage. Clean room. Bathroom is small. Maybe 25% larger than bathroom on cruise ship. I visited onsen on 14 th floor but never tried out. Stayed here 4 nights in Dec.

A stop on the convenient Yamanote line, Sugamo is an easy ride to any central location in Tokyo but it won't feel that way when you leave the station. With regular festivals in its many wide outdoor shopping streets, this relaxed neighborhood is perfect for guests who like to explore on their own. Plus, it's only 15 minutes away from the beautiful Rikugien Garden.

Reviewed By evertonmiIt's a nice place, walking distance to the station. Sugamo station is great because it's on the Yamanote line so you can easily access anywhere in Tokyo. There's also the subway which gives more travel options. Jizo Dori shopping street is very close to the hotel, some good options for shopping and good restaurants around. Komeda coffee is also nearby, and a great place for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. You should know this is not a serviced hotel, so they will not make up the room. But they do change towels if you request. Wifi worked ok, shower pressure was good, the coin-operated laundry was handy. Cons: I don't know if all their rooms are smoking, but when I booked smoking was the only available. I don't smoke but I thought it would be ok, it was very smelly though. But then I asked the reception and they gave me some anti-odour spray and it solved the problem.

2minutes warlk from JR Yamanote Line Sugamo Station Female Limited[ Womens Lodge] Opened. it is convenient, relaxing and accommodated at a cheap rate[tax included]. in the neighborhood,big shopping streets,banks,hospitals,supurmarkets,convenience stores, etc ,living environment is also enriched! FOR Sugamo there is a ramen shop [ivy]which is selected Mishrants "Tsuta" immediatery.

The owner Choco san created very comfortable conditions for travelling women. She is very friendly, kind and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here and hope I'll be back soon again.
