Reviewed By TastydogsA large chalet on the top of a hill facing the castles of San Marino means that the view from the terrace at breakfast is unrivaled. Breakfast itself is very good considering that there are only a couple of rooms. Be prepared to have extra food bought out whether asked for or not. The rooms themselves are comfortable & in very good decorative order. I think there may be 2 grades of room- the higher grade was pretty spacious Emma is very much a friendly force of nature supported by her beloved dogs. She may recommend you to her rural restaurant which in the evenings does a limited range of well prepared, tasty rustic fare.

Kind staff and nice location for sleepover
Reviewed By krossnikLocation is by the main road to the old city of San Marino. Despite that, place is quiet and clean (including bathroom), specially if you only sleep there. Hotel staff was very kind and we had no probems to comunicate in English. Hotel restaurant has many dishes and it's not expensive. There is also shopping center and Titan Coop in vicinty. Overall, quite decent if you only sleep.

Very good apartment in San Marino - if you can find it!
Reviewed By FOSheyeWe stayed at the hotel for a weekend visit to San Marino and the coast and enjoyed very much the big room and the nice little kitchen and terrace. It is a very quiet location, the only problem is to find it. The street was not on the GPS and it a bit far away the main road so we had to ask several people for direction before we found it. The price of 40€ per night is great, but if you want to use the kitchen you need to pay 12€ extra. The Wifi works, but not too impressive. Anyway if you can find this apartment I am sure you will enjoy it, just be aware that there are not many restaurants in the neighbourhood. We drove around one hour before we found one!

The setting is beautiful, vines and trees around the lovely house, the pool was cool and peaceful and the accommodation was calm & relaxing with a gorgeous bathroom with a dual shower. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms very traditionally decorated. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly & the family were very helpful & really friendly throughout. The breakfast was superb, lots of homemade cakes and jams, fresh grapes straight off the vines and fresh figs off the trees. (There was a dining option but we walked up to the shopping centre up the road and went to Draft for a lovely burger as we'd been eating a lot of local food and fancied a change). I'd definitely stay here again if I was going to San Marino again. (Taxi into the centre was about 25 euros - it's much too far to walk and all up hill!).
