High mountain, with a great view from it. During winter season you may have great fun - skiing, while in summer you may want to just relax at the top of the mountain and gather positive energy from Carpathians.

Zahar Berkut Ski Resort

Take a trip back to the 60's and 70's of old school ski lifts, T-Bar POMA lifts and family fun! This is just 10 minute ride on country road from Slavs'ke. Price is only 180 UAH per day ($10 USD) and 100 UAH for half day after 12 noon. Lift starts at 9 and ends at 4:30. Snow was slushy and bare due to very unusual warm weather. There are skiing, snowboarding, sledding for kids and adults. Even ride and walk around the top and ride back down. Many choices for you. The cool thing is the many outdoor kiosks selling food and drink all over the main trail. Wood burning stoves with skewers of meat and potatoes. Dessert and hot wine or hot tea or hot coffee. Choice is yours! Fantastic view of Ivan Frankovish and Carpathian Mountains all around. I will be back

Ski Resort Slavskoye

Worth going. Still cheaper than some other ski resorts in Ukraine. Different hotel pricing - some are a bit overpriced but not too much. A bit overcrowded during the peak of the season but I guess there's no way around that.
The especially nice pat is that there are different tracks for different level riders which allows beginners to get full experience and learn without getting in the way of experienced riders.
Saw rescuers work on and transport an injured person. They came quickly, worked swiftly and transported the casualty efficiently and safely.

Дякую! We were three friends travelling from Canada, Russia and Ukraine and stayed here in May for 5 days. By far one of the highlights of our trip - the Mountains are serene, the cabin very clean and comfortable with an amazing view. We would get up in the morning and watch the fog lift from the peaks across the valley.
There are a lot of different activities on-site (quadding, hot-tubbing, swimming, pottery classes, horse-back riding, etc.), which is nice because the village is smaller. The corner store down the road sells fresh milk and a few groceries, so you can cook in your cabin. We went horse-back riding, and both horses were calm, well-mannered and cared for. We also tried out the чан (a sort of hot tub/wood-heated vat) which was fun, but the water was a bit on the hot side! There were showers, towels and a sitting area indoors which was quite lovely. There is a restaurant on-site which serves lovely local food - I can happily recommend pretty much anything on the menu.
I loved the little barnyard as well - a pig, sheep, dog and some chickens scratched around and were quite friendly, adding to the overall charm.
The cabin was very clean, and felt homey. It had most amenities you would want, including a tea kettle. It was quiet and peaceful (we stayed at the cabin above the чан at the top of the hill). The region has a very pastoral and traditional countryside feel.
The price was reasonable (we did have to convince the owner when we were booking that - according to the website - it was not peak season yet, so the off-season rates applied. After sending a screenshot of the website this miscommunication was cleared up. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
