Reviewed By FellowTraveler401869The hotel itself is very nice and located not far from the train station or the ski slopes, staff where very pleasant and welcoming. The downside to our visit was the food, not a huge choice and portions are small. You had the same selection of salads for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a choice of three hot dishes that where basically the same everyday. Whilst I would recommend the hotel , I would recommend that you eat out rather than in the hotel otherwise you will be disappointed.

Shale Filvarok is located in Slavske and offers free WiFi access and a heated outdoor pool. Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a balcony with mountain views and a sofa. Comfortable mini-eco hotel, which was built from ecological clean wood 'smirk', will give you opportunity to enjoy the all beauty of Carpathian Mountains and breath fresh and clean air. Its great chance to run away from daily vanity and noise of a city. At the territory you will also find ethno restaurant 'Koliba"where you can taste traditional cuisine. Based hotel near mountain 'Politeh', thanks to that you can start your day with ski.
Worst Service ever!
Reviewed By PM9At first, please keep in mind that this revenue is just for the restaurant "Kolyba" and not for the hotel. We was here a couple of days ago to have lunch. We was together with four people and we decided to sit outside as weather was nice. I will not write so much because the restaurant is not worth to write so much. We ordered for different lunches: My one (without the fries I ordered together with my main course) comes first, after 10 minutes. I ordered chicken which was OK but just a small portion. 15 minutes later the salad of my wife was arriving. Salad also was really small. Five minutes later my Fries arrives which I ordered with my main course which I finished 20 minutes ago:-( Another 15 minutes later the course of our daughter arrives. It was potao pancakes which was tasty and also enough from the size. When this course arrives we asked the waiter if she maybe forgot the last person. She said no, it will come in a minute. It takes nearly another 15 minutes, for sure every one else was ready. No word from the waiter or no excuse, and yes we speak Ukraine fluent. We asked for the blue, this takes another 5 to 10 minutes and leave totally disappointed. For sure we know that the food is not coming at the same time for all persons as we are in the Ukraine but this was definitely too much time waiting for the food. Quality of the food was OK but not more, the portions was small compared with other restaurants around the corner. The price for sure was cheap but any restaurant in that area is cheap. We definitely will not come back and from our side we can recommend the "Maxim" which offers much better service and bigger portions and is just two minutes away (near a bank) I write this review in English as I'm thinking that there will be more persons reading English instead of German, and I want to tell the tourists and not the ukraine locals.

Reviewed By _T356GTПри заселении нас встретила хозяйка, очень приятная женщина, всё рассказала и показала. Вид из окна и с террасы просто потрясающий. Во время отдыха ездили на Боржавский хребет, ходили на Захар Беркут, но, думаю, если приедем в следующий раз, будем просто сидеть в отеле, так как вид из окна и с террасы ни чуть не хуже ))))) Очень стильный отель, уютный номер (мы жили в полулюксе), хорошие полотенца, удобный матрац. Отдельной похвалы заслуживает шеф-повар Татьяна, готовит изумительно, вкус и оформление блюд на высоте. Круто, что завтраки включены в стоимость. Обедали и ужинали тоже почти всегда в Агоре, так как очень вкусно и по цене приемлемо. Хозяйка Виктория посоветовала отличную форельную ферму, фирму по джипинг-турам, за что ей отдельное спасибо. Жаль, что чан еще не достроили, будет повод вернуться)))) Очень рекомендую отель для посещения, хозяйке процветания и вдохновения :)

Еда супер, даже мама не приготовит так вкусно ) Хозяева душевные, прекрасные люди от которых не хочется уезжать . Я просто в шоке от уровня сервиса и гостеприимства , в этом отеле точно знают все об этом ! Место , которое хочется , и не стыдно посоветовать даже самым требовательным людям!)

Reviewed By Alona BHi everyone! I decided to write a review about the hotel ‘’Alpenhof’’, located in Slavsko, Lviv oblast, that is in Ukraine, where we spent our 2 weeks’ holiday in August 2016. I can rate this hotel with 3 points out of 5. First of all, I would like to tell you about the positive points. The hotel has a significant advantage over other hotels, because it is located on a hill and has a very nice view from the yard and most of the rooms. For us, it was the most important factor, when we were choosing the hotel. But it was a disadvantage as well, because it was very difficult to climb the mountain by foot, if you don't have a car. We had booked a taxi nearly every time, when we went out of the hotel. The territory of the hotel is clean and pleasant. There is a place where you would be able to play with the kids, a good mini field for football, you could also play badminton there. There is a big trampoline, but later we found out that I, as a mother, could not jump with my 4-year old son on it. My son was very disappointed, because they said that this trampoline is only for kids under 14 years. It is not clear, why they did not allow us to jump together. As far as I know the maximum weight of people who can jump on that kind of trampolines is 90-100 kg. Our weight all together with my son was no more than 80 kg, but strange that they did not allow us to jump all together. There is a nice outdoor pool in the hotel, but the water in that pool was very cold and our son had never been able to swim in it. What I can say, that even I felt myself sick just after first time I have been swimming in that cold water. That is why all the entire holiday I spent having a cough, sore throat and runny nose. We were very unpleasantly surprised, when we realised that when the weather was cold and we were wearing jackets, the administrator began to warm up the water in the pool so people could swim. But it was like a joke, people swam in warm water but than it was very cold outside. It would be nice if they would always heat the water in the pool. Now about the room. We had a family room. It was big enough and beautiful, with TV, small fridge and with an additional sofa bed for the child. But immediately after we came into the room a large stain on the carpet grabbed our attention. We were very disappointed because of bathroom. There was no bath, but only a shower that was faulty. After first time of taking a shower, we understood that the shower was leaking and we had a full bathroom of water. When we had a chart with administrator about it she was not surprised. She did not offer us to fix it, they just put a big towel around the shower and that was all. So we spent our 2 weeks holiday with a wet towel on the floor. I think all the future guests, as well as all previous ones, will live with the same towel. Beds were comfortable, the view from the balcony was incredible. I can say that the cleaners did not clean room properly. When we asked to clean the room and change the towels, the only thing we had was just an additional shampoo and a soap, we actually never used it. By the end of the holiday we had a mountain of all of this staff. They never cleaned the sink, toilet or shower, never made our bed. Sometimes they hoovered the carpet. We were very upset by the fact that they did not pay attention to detaisl, but in a hotel everything should be in accordance to the standard. The point was that when we checked in into the room, there was a nice tray covered with a white paper napkin on the fridge. There were two beautiful glasses and a jug for water (by the way, this jug was without water when we moved in). But after 3 days this paper napkin were stained, unfortunately, no one going to change it and even when I threw it to the bin no one laid a new one. There should be a cleaning standards, at least some standards ... And not just give toilet paper, shampoo and soap. About food. Just like at home, nothing changed. For our family it was even worse. During the first breakfast, I realized that milk was not like they the waitress said ‘home’ milk, but simply was diluted with water. When my husband complained about this to an administrator, they offered us to supply every day to our table, as they said, domestic local milk. So every next breakfast the waitress brought a jug of milk and put it on our table. Unfortunately for all other guests there was the same diluted milk. Unfortunately no standards again. I would like to say some words about the menu. For 10 days of our stay, there was no fish, while fishing for trout has been offered at every turn. In general, they spend much less money that they could for food. Too many cheap chicken legs and a mountain of cabbage salad on a plate as a starter, but it was not fish or beef at all. I understand that the chicken is cheaper than the trout, but the menu has to be balanced, especially for children. They even served canned cucumbers and tomatoes instead of fresh, but it was a pick of summer, when fresh vegetables are very cheap. It's a shame when the chef does not understand it. We had no fruits at all. So we should go to the nearest shop to buy it. Only once they served a grated apple with pancakes for breakfast. There was no choice of food at all. They cooked a food and if you want to eat you should it what they cooked otherwise you will be hungry or you should go somewhere to the city centre to eat. I would advise to change their chef in future, but who knows, it could be an administrator who asked to do so. For our breakfast we could have fried eggs, but when I asked for an omelette, they said that they do not cook it. Surprisingly, they have eggs, they have milk, but they cannot cook an omelette??? You cannot have so poor menu for your guests. They should offer at least a minimum choice, because there were the same products and they need not to buy anything extra. Staff was ok. Special thanks to Oksana. There were cases when the waitresses could not tell us about the ingredients of the dish and where they were purchased. We liked ‘Zakarpatskiy’ tea very much - herbal tea, which we drank every night. Thank you very much for this, I recommend this tea to everyone. We were also unpleasantly surprised that we need to pay even for the billiards and table tennis. That is why you need to have enough money, because when it was raining there were nothing to do, except to read a book or play chess as they were free. That's probably all. Our holiday was not bed, but every day we had to fight and ask about something that should be offered by hotel’s services, for what we already paid our money. The owner and administrator should think about it every day, rather than guests who come to have a rest and nice holiday in their hotel. So I cannot understand people who rate this hotel with 4.5 or even 5 points. I would even not give a 3 after all I had written above. I would suggest to think twice when choose this hotel. But it depends of what you expect of your holiday. I can say that they are robbing their guests on every single service they provided and food, and they not hesitate to do it. They should improve their standards in everything, do not be afraid to spend money on their guests, because room hire price is too high for such a bed service.

Ресторан потрясающий, вкусно очень готовят. Спа замечательный, два часа единоразово входят в стоимость, обязательно посетите. Также на территории есть детская площадка , батут. Из незначительных минусов-уборка. Раз просто поставили воду, не убрав в номере, другой раз убрали, не поставили воду. Плюс не очень удобно, что двуспальная встроенна кровать состоит из двух односпальные, не очень удобно с детками, если спят с родителями. Минусы незначительные. Поэтому смело можно оценить Отель на 5-ку! Однозначно ещё вернёмся.

Reviewed By Тимур ЯХороший отель, тепло и уютно, номера не большие, на вам там понравиться, персонал очень приветливый, отзывчивый. Место расположение удобное для подъезда такси, прокат лыж рядом, гора политех для начинающих через дорогу. До Захар Беркута 10 минут на такси. Очень довольны остались!

Хорошее место для уединённого отдыха
Reviewed By alinka_125Решили в этом году посмотреть западную Украину и наш выбор пал на славный посёлок Славское. А теперь плюсы и минусы нашего отдыха Плюсы: 1. Очень приветливый и дружелюбный администратор Ирина. 2. Вкусная кухня, большие порции, но меню отсутствует и цен не видно 3. Очень красивое место, особенно когда на рассвете солнце озаряет долину. Минусы: 1. Удаленность от железнодорожного вокзала больше 3-х километров 2. До ближайшего подъемника около 800 метров в обход (кресельный), до центрального 1,5 км не меньше. 3. Из 4 х дней прибывания интернет работал только 2 дня и только в холле на первом и втором этаже. 4. Очень удивило отсутствие пультов от телевизора (сломаны были до нас ) нам ничего не предоставили, ссылаясь на их отсутсвие На счёт номера: мы проживали в номере на третьем этаже. Ремонт старенький, ванна большая, но поддон под душ для очень миниатюрных людей. В целом отдых мы остались довольны поездкой
