Emjot Shooting Range

Reviewed By rulasvega - Playa del Carmen, Mexico

I went for my 1st time shooting and i had the best instructions from Martin! Was way better experience of what i thought! They have so many different kinds of weapons up to what you want to try, i tried around 14 different weapons from pistols, riffles, automatic riffles, shootguns and even a Rambo machine gun! They have everything you can imagine... And the best thing is the price, trying this in other parts would be minimum double so if you are around the area this is a must! Definetly one of the best experiences i had on my life. Looking forward to come back soon!

Planetarium Slaskie

The biggest and the oldest planetarium in Poland was founded in 1955 to commemorate a great astronomer - Nicolaus Copernicus. It is provided with Zeiss projection apparatus, placed under the 23 metres dome - the screen of the artificial sky. Almost 400 spectators can watch the programme at the same time. The planetarium sky is an exact picture of the real firmament under which different lectures take place. Most of them deal with geography, astronomy but musical shows can be attended there as well. The telescope with 30 cm objective situated in the Astronomical Observatory enables astronomers who work in the Planetarium to follow planetoids and comets. On fine days, visitors can observe the Sun, and after the sunset - admire the most interesting night objects, even with magnification of 750 times. Time is measured by the big sun-dial which is situated in the planetarium yard.

LEGENDIA Silesian Amusement Park

Reviewed By Davidjellis - Lowestoft, United Kingdom

I visited Legendia (or to use its full name - Legendia Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko) as part of a large group of roller coaster enthusiasts touring theme parks in Poland. The main reason for visiting Legendia was Lech Coaster, which has built up a reputation of being one of the best steel coasters in Europe, and that reputation was deserved - It is fast, has high g-forces, and is loads of fun. The other three roller coasters at the park are two identical Zyklon compact coasters (just different theming) and a twin-looping roler coaster that was originally located in the UK. All the attractions are located around a large lake and the whole park is colourful and well maintained. I enjoyed the large ferris wheel, and also the park's new dark ride, featuring laser guns and various monsters to shoot. There are also water rides and something else that was a complete surprise, a plane ride called Dreamflight Airlines, which is a similar design to the famous Sir Hiram Maxim's Flying Machines at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England. Whilst not as old as the Blackpool ride (The Legendia version was built in the 1950s) the planes all had working propellers which created a wonderful noise as the planes circled its tower / loading station...it was a real joy to experience it. We ate lunch at the Lech Restaurant which was good quality and had a wide range of food, albeit our group had a set menu organised for us. I really loved my visit here, and would happily recommend.
