Batumi (Georgian: ბათუმი [bɑtʰumi]) is the second-largest city of Georgia, located on the coast of the Black Sea in the country's southwest. This more than 150 years old church is located in the very center of Batumi and it is one of the oldest churches in the city. An initiator of construction of the Church was the Greek mayor of Batumi Ilya Efremidi, that's why church's architecture is so different. Church is a few steps from Piazza square. If you like old buildings and churches you should definitely visit it.
