Reviewed By joaoemviagemVery beautifull, very clean and confortable place. Rooms are big and well decorated, and the swiming-pool is amazing. Staff is very professional and helpfull. Food was delicious. Safe, free and easy parking.

Along N13 route from Rissani to Merzouga you’ll meet the small ksar Haroun: close to Haroun gardens, immersed in the desert and far from any other tourist facilities, stands Dar Haroun. Dar Haroun has 4 double rooms and 1 family room, each equipped with private bathroom and furnished in moroccan berber style. At the edge of Haroun gardens is set up our bivouac with traditional berber tents. Dar Haroun has a restaurant, a kitchen where it is cooked traditional moroccan berber food (using ingredients from Haroun), and a tea room where to relax. Dar Haroun also has a nice terrace and offers free wifi in public areas and free private parking. We offer activities as trips and tour in the desert, 1 or more days.

Reviewed By 879camillatDar Haroun is the perfect spot to access Morocco’s not-to-miss experiences: the desert and Rissani’s authentic local market. Lidia and Ali are the amazing hosts and can arrange both activities. In the desert you get to see the beauty of the dunes at sunset and dawn, and sleep in a berber camp. We reached the place by dromedary and tried sandboarding, other activities are quads and baggy cars. At the market you get to see the buzz of various craftmenships, sellers of livestock, traditional clothing and food (a little gem is the parking for donkeys!). After all the hassle of the day, you’ll desire nothing but Dar Haroun oasis of piece. The guesthouse has very nice and big relaxing areas and a terrace, perfect for stargazing. The food is delicious and Lidia and Ali were also so kind to accomodate a (very) late dinner for our first day. 100% recommended!

Reviewed By Chris MVery quiet traditional Riad with excellent decoration. Although we arrived at 23.30 without reservation they welcomed us.. The room was big, nicely decorated and warm. The breakfast was tasteful (traditional) . ABDEL (the receptionist) walked with us along the village explaining to us the village's story.. Excellent riad with friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful hospitality, excellent food, authentic stay
Reviewed By catherine bWonderful staff, warm, helpful, thoughtful, and accommodating of every need. The hot breakfast provided was exceptional and worth more than the price of the room. We had to leave very early to catch a bus, and the owners still woke up cheerfully to make us a hot breakfast very early in the morning. The building is traditional and the business has been in the same family for many generations, offering a warm and authentic experience (modest shared bathroom). Very hard working owners (brothers). I know that they have hopes to expand their business, and we wish them the best in achieving that. Our recommendation would be to have new, fresher bed linens. We had a very memorable stay.
