cozy, quiet renovated old villa near city center
Reviewed By susan hThis is a lovely little villa, that has new owners since 3 months. Young couple who are very hard working and helpful in making the villa, and our stay, a great experience. The villa is over a 100 years old and very charming and quiet. The next tram station that takes you to the city in 1 stop is just about 5 minutes away by foot, great connections all day long. Breakfast was good, not a huge choice, but good quality. If you love old quaint places, this is the place to stay! Thank you!

Beautiful Villa, great to relax!
Reviewed By Clarita FWe where 2 couples and had the apt. 3 at Villa Bohemia. It is a beautiful old house with great spaces and a very nice view. Everything was spotless clean and organized, the kitchen is fully equipped and the bed- and bathrooms are really spacious but cozy. Every room has its own (freshly renewed) modern bathroom with floor heating and rain-shower. The beds were also super comfy. Villa Bohemia in Bad Schandau was perfect for a nice weekend away from the city, to relax and enjoy nature. Also the thermal baths are just across the street and are open til 00:00 on friday and saturday so you can enjoy late night swim or sauna visit. We will definitely come back!

Great B&B by river
Reviewed By Jonathan LMy wife and I stayed here for one night when driving back from Austria to Poland. The hosts were very welcoming and offered us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Our room was slightly quirky with the bed up a couple of stairs from the rest of the room which was fun and all very comfortable. The B&B is located right across the road from the river and it is a short walk along the river in to town. We stayed on a Saturday night and when we went in to town for dinner we found that most restaurants were full so you may want to book ahead. In the end we had dinner in the restaurant of a hotel which was actually very pleasant so it all worked out fine! In the morning breakfast is served in an impressive underground room and the breakfast spread is also very impressive, you will not be left hungry! You can park for free on the road outside the hotel. An enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Reviewed By BarbaraschwarzmannDas Hotel liegt sehr günstig in der Innenstadt einen Steinwurf vom Busbahnhof entfernt. Ein hervorragendes Preis- Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr sauber, angenehm warmes Badezimmer und sofort heißes Wasser. Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank im Zimmer und Tee und Kaffee liegen auch bereit. Es gibt jeden Tag ein paar Schokoriegel um den Tag mit einem Betthupferl ausklingen lassen zu können. Zum Frühstück gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt, man wird gefragt was man möchte. Der Betreiber ist ein sehr netter Mann dem es wirklich wichtig ist, dass es seinen Gästen gut geht und diese alles haben was sie brauchen. Er hat mir innerhalb von 15 Minuten einen Arbeiter organisiert der mir auf der Baustelle helfen konnte. Herr Brodalla ist ein echter Tausendsassa!!

Next door is a lovely garden and one is awoke in the morning to a cacophony of songbirds . Breakfast selection is substantial and a restaurant with outdoor seating completes the ensemble.

The breakfast buffet was good with scrambled or boiled eggs, rolls, cheeses, meats, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, etc. The staff, though rather minimalist in number, were friendly and efficient. They allowed our dog to stay with us for Euro10 per night.

Reviewed By Thomas SEin ganz aussergewöhnliches Haus mit sehr eigener Atmosphäre; dabei ist jedes Zimmer in einem anderen Stil eingerichtet. In einem Herrenhaus darf und kann man keine "ultramoderne" Einrichtung erwarten, dass versteht sich von selbst. Es ist, wie es heisst: ein Herrenhaus: in sich sehr stimmig. Die ganz aussergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber ist besonders hervor zu heben. Das Frühstück - wenn man es denn zusätzlich wählt - wird sehr liebevoll zubereitet und arrangiert. Wir haben die 4 Übernachtungen sehr genossen und kommen sicher weider.
