Thought there is direct view to the famous small canals, nature, well know for this region but it’s located in living area. The interior looks like mixed up land house style and home-improvement market. It’s functional, simple and standard bed & breakfast. We missed a special character of this hotel. The fee & access to the Spreewelten Bad is included. We don’t understand the context to penguins. The very negative thing is that they expect on weekends min. 2 nights. So you’re not able to book only 1 night on weekends. That’s a no go and we never had this policy before! For a baby cot & bath robe you have to pay extra. That must be included. Very sad. Parking is free. The service should be more friendly. Foods are only buffet and average. Restaurant is not all time open. All in all average B&B.

Reviewed By 2worldtravelers13Eine der originellsten Bleiben die ich kenne, und vor COVID bin ich wirklich viel gereist…. Unmittelbar am Dagow-See und c. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Stechlin, dem saubersten See Deutschlands. Wir wohnten im Lord Byron - sehr viel Platz, leider keine Fenster-Verdunkelung, keine Dusche und kein Balkon, aber wir durften in der Badewanne im Erker duschen und den Garten mitbenutzen. Rothbergers sind tolle Gastgeber, wir wurden sehr persönlich begrüßt, herumgeführt, mit der Geschichte der Familie und des Hauses vertraut. Alles 3 Zimmer belegt, aber außer beim leckersten Frühstück der Welt haben wir niemanden getroffen. Es ist total ruhig, und wir fanden es toll mit einem der beiden anderen Paare an einem Tisch frühstücken zu dürfen - die Unterhaltung bezog auch das Paar aus dem Erker ein. Auch die Hauswirtschafterin mit einem mir schwierig zu erinnernden Nachnamen ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft in Person. Ach, und Katzen sollte man mögen denn Flummy hat so ihren eigenen Kopf :-) All in: ein tolles Haus in einem traumhaften Seegrundstück, total ruhige Lage, ideal zum Wandern, Radfahren und baden und die Seele baumeln lassen. Und das leckere selbstgemachte Frühstück ind dieser Güte und Auswahl und den leckeren Kaffee bitte beibehalten! Wir kommen wieder !

Reviewed By Frieda AVilla Fortuna is the most amazing resort for a family vacation, especially if you wish to have a taste of both relaxing and lively atmosphere. This villa is located only a few min walk from the train station, from which the train leaves to Berlin every half hour. So, one can arrive at Berlin within the hour. Also, you can get to The Tropical Islands station in 7 min (a special bus goes from the station to the entrance of the park every few min). The whole place is surrounded by the most beautiful garden one could imagine, full of trees, plants, fruit and flowers. Tables, chairs and benches are placed around the garden so you can deside to sit under a tree or under the sun. It also has a pond in which ducks swim and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is a trampoline, ping-pong kit, BBQ stand, a sand box. And it's all for you and your family. The house itself is simply huge. at least 3 bedrooms with double sized beds, a living room with cable TV, two bathrooms and toilets (hair dryers, towels and hand soap included) and a fully equipped kitchen. The whole complex has a beautiful interior design, of both modern and antique styles. And most important - it's perfectly clean, absolutely spotless. The landlord is most hospitable and very friendly. he offers his guests anything that would make them feel at home. Right behind the villa there is a shopping center with REWE supermarket and other stores and a small cafe. A few minutes walk away from the villa you can get to the center of town, where you will find cafes, a movie theater, and quite a few restaurants and stores. in sum, if you plan your family vacation in Germany, Pansion Villa Fortuna is the perfect choice. If you like to walk, a car is not a necessity.

Pleasant surprise with friendly staff
Reviewed By AUMUCWe arrived quite late at night and were in close communication with the staff to ensure we can still check in. They were very accommodating and attentive to make sure we were fine . The rooms are quiet and spacious with a friendly touch of maritime. Very clean and large nice bathroom with walk in shower .. As I had to leave early and returned after one hour the staff had reserved a breakfast table by the window for me to enjoy a late breakfast! The selection at the buffet is large! This was very thoughtful! Overall very nice experience !

Reviewed By xyzzyx12345Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, die Pension ist gepflegt und Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig. Wir hatten auch veganes Frühstück bestellt, das war kein Problem -es wurden keine Zusatzkosten dafür berechnet-, das vegane Frühstück wurde auch täglich variiert und es gab ausnahmslos leckere Sachen. Scheint so, als wären die Pensionsinhaber informiert, was lecker schmeckt und was nicht ;) Davon abgesehen war auch das "normale" Buffet sehr reichhaltig und sehr ansprechend. Auf dem Gelände der Pension ist auch eine Art Gnadenhof untergebracht. Man merkt die Inhaber haben ein Herz für Tiere. Alles in allem eine tolle Pension!
