A cobbled pedestrianised town square in the heart of the town. It is surrounded by kebab/pizza shops, bars, restaurants and pubs, most notably the Lord Jack where the Hostel Rzeszow is situated. At its centre is the old well and the Kosciusko monument. It's a great place to start from if you want to explore the rest of the town but unless you're into parks, churches or food then there's not much here. Would be better in summer when there is more activity.

The multimedia Fountain is a very fitting place to sit down after spending a long day walking and photographing the city.
On a hot day you will see children and some adults with children hearts running and jumping around in the water. That with the music and the dancing of the water can provide some tranquility you might really need after a long day.

Superbly looking building on the side of Market Square in Rzeszów - always full with locals and tourists. Some say it's from th century, but in current shape and form only from the end of 19th century. Stil being used as a towns council seat, so tourists can admire it only from the outside.

This is a very nice large shopping center with lots of boutiques. Unfortunately for us, the choice in boutiques often reduced to sports and everyday style of dress and shoes. In the mall there are many fast food restaurants. Also excellent restaurant Oranzeria. There is a large grocery store, but it is not a supermarket

Small place where every old and young can start journey into past. Cartoons from my childhood seems so nice again. Even when I was there with my parents they felt so happy. You may see there many different stories from other countries as well. Unfortunately they have no descriptions about characters. However most of them are well known. Also they have a special room, where you can watch some cartoons. You can spend there more then hour and this is the only museum where nobody would be bored.

This cemetery have a something of magic. Always brings me in good mood, give and extra breath in day time. There are very old graves of people fought in Polish and Hungarian uprisings, counselors from the Austria-Hungarian period of Galicja, and just a real nature with birds, grass and green around. Cemetery is rather small, can say even in bad condition, but have a spirit as a place. Close to old market, right to greek-catholic church (old funeral chapel).

Tadeusz Nalepa is called "father of Polish blues". His strong ties with Rzeszów - Nalepa spent his younger years here, and his career kicked off here - made him an unforgetable person in town, and this little monument, opened in 2009 - two years after Nalepa's death - is just one of the proofs of that. Wearing his typical clothes, and obviously carrying his guitar, he walks one of the main streets of the town, as he used to do in his years. Popular spot for tourists taking pictures with the Bluesman.

In the leaflet “Rzeszów Tourist Attractions”, which is supplied by the Tourist Office, this Museum is incidentally mentioned as an appendage of the Holy Cross Church and of the Lyceum school. Actually, I wonder why and how the Holy Cross Church and the Lyceum could arouse the interest of a tourist, whereas the Museum is certainly worth attention.
First of all, don’t be mislead by the belittling name of this museum (“District Museum”) which seems to evoke narrow cultural horizons and limited scope. On the contrary, the museum presents a profusion of paintings (I have not counted them, but they probably are far more than a hundred) dating from the early 16th century up to the 20th century. Many of them are from Polish artists, but there are also several Dutch, Flemish and Italian works. Although the quality of the paintings is not sublime, the overall presentation and the setting are attractive, since the exhibition is installed along the corridors of a former convent (presumably of the 17th century). The museum also contains additional exhibits: a collection of prehistoric artefacts, and an interesting documentation of the liberation wars carried out in Poland between 1914 and 1945. There is also an ancient pharmacy, but it was closed at the time of my visit. In my opinion it is possible to spend one pleasant hour or so in this museum.
The museum is located in the elegant “3 Maja” street. It has a rather irregular opening schedule, mostly from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and is closed on Saturday and Monday. Closing the museum in the early afternoon may result in a comfortable working schedule for the staff, but is certainly a big inconvenience for the tourists. Admission is 8 Złoty (about 2 €), with reduction to 6 Złoty for the elders. A useful and illustrated leaflet is distributed to all visitors. It is allowed to take photos: most of the paintings are well lighted by daylight, otherwise an efficient lighting system makes up for. There are toilets. It is difficult, if not impossible, to communicate in English.

Castle of Lubomriscy family has been built in XVII century and big walls, moat and shape of whole building still remain the same. However in meantime this place has also the governmental role and now there is a court. It is possible go go into during the working hours of court, but there is nothing special to see. Around the castle you can see some cannons and information on the wall about the history of prison in communistic time. Very nice view and azimuth for many tourists in Rzeszow. Also in night time it is nice lighted.
