Jatiluwih Green Land

Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The scenic drive through the quaint villages and verdant slopes of the central coastal regency of Tabanan adds to the experience.

We spent an hour here and had a good walk through the stunning scenery. Miles and miles of rice fields. There are longer walks but we were on a tour and had another place to go to.
The walk is not testing but the heat is more a factor. Take a hat and plenty of water.

Bali Dirt Bikes

Reviewed By Tim W - Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia

Just had an absolutely awesome day.
Brilliant local guides made this the coolest guided tour. Nothing to was a problem for them, they even split our group a few times so less experienced riders didn't have a hard time and the better riders got the mad super technical stuff.
Small mechanical issues were sorted before we'd noticed them, and the bikes were as good as you can get.
I'm super keen to get back and have a go at the other routes offered.
Base camp is cool, all the gear is included, bikes are latest models and set up really well. I spent 15 mins moving my bars around because I'm particular about them, and I had tools passed to me and several hands helping.
Beer was incredibly cold when we got back too.
Definitely coming back for more.

My husband, son & his father in law enjoyed an amazing half day Dirt Bike Tour with Gede. They were so impressed with Gede, his knowledge & everything involved with the tour. My husband and sons father in law are novice drivers. Gede lead them through the bike training and tracks. My son got to ride the more difficult trails. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They were picked up, trained, taken through amazing terrain, given lunch and a quick dip in the pool before being dropped back to our Villa. They strongly recommend the experience for novice & experienced riders. They said it's the best way to see remote Bali.

First and foremost, the weather was very good. Cooling temperature around 21degree which make this activity doesn't really sweat. Infact if you are not moving, it can get a bit of chill. We had fun trying out the courses although we did not complete everyone of them. The course get tougher as you go. My kids love the zip line the most and highly recommended for anyone who loves adventure and not afraid of height. The staffs are helpful and they will guide you what you need to do before you are allow on your own. Nothing too difficult as safety is top priority for everyone. Wish we had cater for more time for this activity.

The whole trip was fun and relaxed. Started by well organised comfortable pick up from the hotel. We were then escorted to a coffee plantation where we had a very informative talk and tastings. The views were amazing.
Next on to breakfast at a hill side resistant with good loos! And amazing views for breakfast.
Then the cycle back...the bikes were a little tired ,but did the job. The route down went through jungles, side roads and rice fields .you saw many aspects of the Bali lifestyle.
The village we road through we stopped and the guide explained the temples and lifestyle. You could ask questions too.
Finally back to a small family enclave for a delicious home cooked lunch. And some wonderful hand painted drawings. Then home to our hotel at about 2 30pm .
The tour was well organised, support vehicle and machanic on hand. Best feature small group of 6 max.
Ideal for any age or ability. The reason only a 4/5 was the bikes were rather tied . Recommend you take cycle gloves if you pre-book the tour ,you do need to use the breaks! I did not and it did not matter but if you have them bring them .also long sleeves and trousers to protect from sun and nippy things. I would not have missed this tour. It was fun ,informative, safe and friendly. Great value for money too

This was an exciting experience for us! We rode the elephant around the park. There is an opportunity to get pictures and they take a lot. Our guide pointed out some beautiful birds and plants along the way too. You can buy a food basket and feed the elephants too! They even had baby elephants that you could feed! Lunch was included and it was very good. The chocolate factory has great chocolate but because of the heat, we couldn’t buy any or it would have melted.

The cooking lesson itself was great fun and the food tasted absolutely delicious. The main point of going however was to have the recipes to repeat at home. I have chased by email but still no sign of the recipes that were promised to be sent by email.
Has anyone been recently and is willing to send me theirs?
