Expectations were quite high after Reading the reviews, however we were disappointed.
As always I try to give objective input.
I must admit that we went there on a rainy evening so that may have influences the experience negatively, however here are the facts.
From the reception you have to walk 5-10 minutes down a long and very dark path. We were offered an umbrella (but hat one leaked so we were soaking wet when we arrived at the restaurant). The path itself was more like a river so our leather shoes were ruined when we arrived at the restaurant. We also crossed a rat on the way down. So.... this was not what I would call a good start.
We were seated in a room that lacked any nice decoration. I suppose when you can sit on the Terrace it is much nicer of cours but unfortunately could not experience this. The staff had to walk through the rain with our dishes.
It took them a very long time to prepare and bring the cocktails.
They were very attentive and brought us a towel.
The food was average, not better than what you would eat in any ordinary Thai restaurant. Portions were rather small.
Prices: 150 000 for a Cosmopolitan, 200 000 for a glass of wine. A bottle of water 90 000 Pad Thai 145 000 just to give some examples.
I have been in some neighbouring restaurants like 'swept away' that were much better.
All in all I would not go back and don't recommend this restaurant.

If you are interested in vegan and raw food you will probably like this / love it. It is all very well taken care of and beautifully designed on the plate. It tastes special and new. In that sense it is probably extremely good and innovative. When we were there, there were few others (3 persons at one other table to be precise). And that is what it is: Many people would like a beer with their meal (OK, just one!) or even a trace of comfort food possibilities. Don't go with children or young adults. They will probably order the veggie hamburger, probably healthier than what many of us have eaten in the past decade or so, but it just doesn't taste good. I still go to a restaurant to have a nice and pleasant evening and spoil the senses with some food. This restaurant, albeit innovative en esthetic, is not quite my cup of tea.

This was the first vegan restaurant I've ever eaten at, even though I'm primarily vegetarian.
The food was really amazing. And here, vegan does not mean mock meats either in flavour or looks.
The portions are quite large and you'll be well advised to order more later, should the need arise.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
And the setting of this place is unique in location as it is in design. Very beautiful. Typically Balinese.

WE were taken here by our driver for lunch and we were not disappointed, from the individual little dining huts to the magical surroundings of Waterfalls and statues it was great. The service was fantastic and very efficient. We asked for a bucket of ice to keep our Beers cold, no problem. The food was fantastic and the prices were very good. Clean toilets with hand soap and individual little hand washing stations near by. I can only imagine this place looks fantastic at night. This is a warung not to be missed so whether you're staying in the area or out for a day trip give this place a try. One tip though take the insect repellant for night time i think.

Batubara

We bring to Bali our passion for Argentinian cuisine with a Mediterranean influence using traditional methods and an exclusively wood fired grill. We take pride in sourcing organic produce, free-range pork and prime grass-fed beef. Hosted by the owner Pablo!

Reviewed By Clare G - Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Best food I’ve had in South East Asia in 1.5 years! Everything was fresh and delicious. The prawns were amazing! The chef/owner Pablo explained that they took the shells and head and fried them to release the flavour then fried the prawns in them (with garlic and chilli - I could have eaten the cooking oil by itself with bread for dinner).
The steaks were cooked perfectly, the accompaniments were all great. Loved it!
