La Reine Blanche is a small chateau which is used as a event function venue now. It sits on the edge of les Etangs. There is a nice walking path completely around. Lots of bird life including swans and egrets. Fishing also but you must have a fishing license. A very natural, peaceful place.

Balades a cheval a Chantilly

Horse back riding in the beautiful forest of Chantilly. we are located only 500m from the Castle. 45 mn by car from Paris or 25mn from Gare du Nord

We visited Le Cachot as a groupfor a social evening while working in Senlis. The shop is a must for anyone interested in history and a visit in the cellar is highly recomended. We had a lovely dinner there with great food and an interesting tale of the historical finds that have been done in the area.
The Owner was very polite and knowledgeble, sadly he only speaks French so at least one person in the group shold speak french

Royaumont Abbey

Royaumont Abbey was founded in 1228 by Louis IX, the future Saint Louis, with the support of his mother, Blanche of Castile. Richly endowed by the king, who enjoyed spending time there, the Abbey achieved great renown in the 13th century. In the 1930s, Henry Goüin decided to open Royaumont to struggling artists and intellectuals. The project was made permanent 26 years later, in 1964, with the establishment of a foundation, the Fondation Royaumont (Goüin-Lang) pour le Progrès des Sciences de l'Homme. Thus in the course of the 20th century, having previously served as a monastery, a textile factory, a village and a noviciat, the Abbey was transformed into an important venue for gatherings of several generations of French and foreign intellectuals working in the humanities and music, and eventually became an internationally renowned centre of artistic research, training and production.

I stayed for two days for a work-related meeting. From beginning to end the experience was full of fun and discovery. Hosts and staff were consummate professionals attending to our needs with utmost attention and discretion.
Food and catering quality and standard was excellent. Not all staff were comfortable in English language, but we found a way to understand each other which added to the fun.
i had the pleasure of staying in the main 'palace', where the rooms were beautifully appointed.
Don't expect TV and room service. This place is all about coming together and connecting with people.
Definitely recommended for professional groups and teams. I understand also there are many cultural events held on the grounds too.

Happily we got the Night ticket other wise we wouldn't just ride 3 attractions. during the day.
