Canoas (Portuguese pronunciation: [kaˈnoɐs]), which earned city status in 1939, is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. With more than 300,000 inhabitants, it is part of the Porto Alegre conurbation and has the second highest GDP in the state. It is also the fourth largest city in the state by population. This place is really nice to spend a day. It has been recently revamped. On good sunny days its advisable to go early or else you won't get spot. Parking really gets full.

As far as I know, this place is opened just for agricultural exposition, mostly for livestock, in september, when, absolutely sure, rains and the place becomes a swamp.
Thousand of families run to there an it becomes difficult to enjoy the visit. I feel that such a large space is being misused

Para quem reside próximo da estação Fátima do Trensurb, esta é uma ótima opção de lazer. Caminhar, andar de bicicleta, andar de skate, jogar futebol, jogar vôlei e jogar bocha, são as atividades possíveis aqui.
O estacionamento é imenso e existem varias instalações de piquetes fixos instalados no local.
As festas da cidade são realizadas aqui.

Shopping maravilhoso, com muitas lojas boas e preços de todos os tipos. Muito legal que lá sempre tem atividades para a família, como a roda gigante que esteve no período de férias, a exposição com dinossauros, e shows com entrada gratuita para quem trocasse as notinhas. Vale a pena o passeio, o ambiente é ótimo, tem muitas cafeterias e até parquinhos infantis nos corredores.

Adorei as cervejas da Bierbauch. Existe mais de uma centena de opções para degustar no local ou presentear. O local é agradável e o antedimento muito bom. Estive em um evento chamado Burguer Bierbauch e pude comer um delicioso hambúrguer feito com pão cervejinha, maionese verde especial, cebola roxa, alface, picles e bacon. Para acompanhar fui de Imperial Stout, da Fat Bull (da torneira), uma Irish Red Ale dos Irmãos Ferraro e uma Pilsen da Hunsruck. Foi lá também que provei neste dia uma Triple MontFort, da Bodedrown. Quer cerveja incrível! É um lugar para quem aprecia cerveja artesanal não pode deixar de ir!

A Praça do Expedicionário, ou Praça do Soldado como é conhecida pelos moradores de Esteio, já foi um ponto símbolo da cidade. Hoje não passa da um lugar por onde temos que passar. Já está mais do que na hora da prefeitura revitalizar, tornando o lugar atrativo para visitantes ou para os moradores.

O lugar é "legal" não tem muitas coisas que possa deixar super interessantes. Poucas coisas antigas e que chamam atenção. Fui faz um tempo com o colégio, pode ter mudado alguma coisa, mas quando fui não era muito interessante.

We enjoyed an interesting tour in the Gremio stadium: we learned a lot about it's design, construction and daily use. We saw the soccer field, but also the VIP-rooms, offices and other facilities normally not open to the public. The guided tour was professionally and well organized. Nice Gremio shopping opportunity afterwards, Interesting to learn about the direct link between Gremio stadium and Amsterdam Arena stadium.
