Near the Georgian village of Gergeti, at the top of a hill of 2,170 meters, in the vastness of the Caucasus Mountains and emoldurated by the awesome "Mount Kazbek", you will find the miraculous "Gergeti Trinity Church", also known as the "Holy Trinity Church". It dates from the 14th century, a very simple and isolated church, but very active as a religious temple of the "Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church". Visit the church, its separate bell tower and, principally, contemplate the beauty of the astonishing scenic mountains just in front of your eyes. Say a prayer and be thankful. "Gergeti Trinity Church" is a symbol of Georgia and one of the most impacting images I have ever saved in my travelling memories. Enjoy!

Located on the top of the hill which is easily accessible by cable car .... the panoramic view of the entire city can be appreciated form here ... the climate was exceptional during our visit and that added as an advantage to enjoy the natural beauty

This is a compact and well-curated museum that combines elements of typical a historical museum, an art museum, and a natural history museum into one roof. Plan for ~2 hours visit. The highlight for me was the exceptional exhibit on ancient hominids (humans and their ancestors) which includes fossil skulls found all around the world, explanations of the current scientific consensus on human evolutionary history, and reconstructions of what these hominids might have looked like. This topic is very relevant to Georgia, as some of the oldest human remains found outside of Africa were recently found in Dmanisi, Kartli region (1.8 million years old). There is also a nice section on the fauna of Georgia, consisting of large and small animals found all over the country. The bulk of the museum focuses on artifacts of Georgian civilization from tens of thousands of years BC to the present. The state of preservation of some of these objects is truly astonishing! My favorites were the intricate gold jewelry, a 4000-year old wooden carriage, and the national costumes of different regions. When we visited, there was also a temporary exhibit about Stalin's purges of artists and intellectuals in Georgia. Overall, this museum is a must-see while visiting Tbilisi!

The lower, upper and seaside parks are located on the main route of the garden. Currently, the garden consists of nine floristic sectors, those of Caucasian humid subtropics, East Asia, New Zealand, South America, the Himalayas, Mexico, Australia, and of the Mediterranean. The garden collection comprises 2.037 Taxonomic units of ligneous plants, including 104 of Caucasian origin. The rests are the representatives of the other phytogeographic flora.

9 km north of Batumi on rocky hills that touch the Black sea, there are these botanical gardens, meanwhile over one hundred years old. It was all started in the 1880s by Russian botanist Andrey Krasnov (not to be confused with his brother, the notorious fascist general Pyotr Krasnov). During Soviet times the gardens were developed into one of the largest in the former USSR. The gardens are huge indeed and consist of many different sections laid out over a 108 hectare hilly area. Each section is presenting the vegetation of one particular region. Personally I liked the East Asia and Australia sections most. Plan enough time to enjoy the gardens. You could easily spend a whole day there. For those who are not physically fit, there are electric cars available at an extra fee (5 lari one way). I found the maps rather confusing as they contain too much information (different color icons, markings and other details) and lack 'where you are' points. It is helpful to select the sections where you want to go beforehand. They are numbered. I hope in future, maps will be simpler and easier to use. Entrance fee: 15 lari Minibus 31 and bus 10 link to gardens to the city (0.50 lari one way). They go frequently also after 6PM, as they are also used by garden workers and other locals. The gardens close at 6PM. It means you can not enter anymore after that time, but you still have plenty of time to get out later.

We enjoyed walking down the boulevard before sunset, it has all you need (food,drinks,shisha) you can enjoy the beach, you can rent a bike or motorbike and go through the boulevard faster, we walked past the folklore dancing place and the was a contest and we enjoyed it so much it was amazing and at the end of the night where was fireworks which was the perfect way to end the night :)

The old town of Tbilisi is such a unique and romantic place to walk around There are numerous cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops all over the place The old city has a diversity of architectures and so the best way to enjoy , at least part of the many hidden gems, is to take a tour around it.

The place is Beautiful, one of the biggest church in Georgia. This is an impressive building from the outside and inside with its golden dome is really eye-catching. Very near to Avlabari metro station.

The original name of the Jvari Church was "Church of the Holy Cross". The church that is considered by many Georgians to be the most sacred place in Georgia stands exactly where the "Holy Tree Cross" was established by King Mirian the 3rd, shortly after he converted to Christianity. The church has been build just above the location of the cross. The view from the top of the hilltop of the church towards the valleys of the 2 rivers is very impressive.
