Reviewed By Victoria WFrom the friendly greeting on arrival we knew we had chosen well. We could not fault this place. Both the Ravees made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The design of the room and the forest setting with the pool was just idyllic. Rooms are spacious, with all the facilities you need and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great for a short walk or tuk tuk to lion rock, they also organised a jeep safari for us to the nearby elephant park and arranged a tuk tuk to take us early morning to Pidurangala with breakfast ready on our return. Food and drinks all excellent and served in a cool, sheltered dining area. The only downside was that they only had availability for one night so book early.

The Minneriya and Kaudulla parks, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa and Ritigala are some of the attractions you could visit based at Sevanagama Stargazing on a clear night is one thing you must not miss when staying with us USD90/double room on BB basis Visitors can also enjoy a dip in our newly built pool now.

Reviewed By SuzydelaMontagne- The hotel is located in a quiet place, away from the main road and has a nice garden and a lovely view. - The room is spacious, clean and equipped with all practical things like water, coffee/tea, fridge, safe, toiletries etc. - The pool is on the small side and somewhat outdated (here and there some tiles loose). The sunbeds are also a bit outdated and there is not much space around the pool to lie down. - The food is good, especially the Sri Lankan curry is really delicious. - The staff is attentive, but doesn't speak English very well. In short, a fine hotel, but the price / quality is not quite in the right balance.

Located very close to Sigiriya Rock, my place is calm and quiet. We have rooms with garden and rock views, as well as a veranda for sitting. You can visit Lion rock in 15 minutes by foot, or take a bicycle/Tuk Tuk. You can choose fan or A/C room with flat screen TV, comfortable bed, and hot water showers. Breakfast is included, and we are happy to prepare a warm meal for you on request.

Sean followed is for 25 minutes snce he knew the direction we were going and brought tr stuff saved the day. Fair friendly service we will be back. Location and neighborhood very convenient

Reviewed By 25gayanbNice clean rooms, with friendly staff and management. Spectacular view of Sigiriya rock from the rooftop. Simple but tasty foods to match with our local taste buds. Kids were happy with the swim and bath at the nearby water stream.

You can enjoy the birds, squirrels, and monkeys all the time. The staffs are friendly and supportive. There is also a very good ayurvedic spa place not too far from this hotel to pamper yourself while you are on vacation. Highly recommended this place!

Lovely hotel in Sigiriya
Reviewed By estelleg472My friends and I stayed at Inn on a Tree for two nights while visiting Sigiriya. I had stayed there once before some years ago and this time didn't disappoint! The rooms were beautiful and the bathroom was clean. The little balcony was perfect and the elephant crackers going off in the night made for an authentic experience! I would very much recommend staying here :)

It is a beautiful hotel, the rooms were big and modern and the hotel grounds immaculately presented. Had a breathtaking view overlooking the lake grounds and it was beautiful sight every morning. Basically my fav was the view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala :) Staff is so nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back

Amazing week in Sigiriya
Reviewed By Jity123We stayed with Asiri family for a week and it was one of the best place I've ever been. Both, Mr and Mrs Asiri, are really wonderful hosts serving us the best breakfasts and dinners and having really patience with us. They also provide us with tea/coffee with biscuits during all day and were really helpful with all our needs (renting a bike etc.). I highly recommend this place for a stay and wish to come back some time soon!
